Bed is comfortable and room is recently renewed. A/C is new and TV as well. Great Terrace with good view to the lake. Hotel Administrator-Receptionist-Accountant-Bell boy-Valet Parking is a nice guy :-)
Hotel is quite old. Certainly in the 80s it was a great accommodation! Restaurant does not look so clean. Free breakfast is a myth since it costs 25 MXN each. Expensive menu. Rate vs amenities does not represent cost-benefit.
the water for washing is very bad. hard to clean the hair. the not shampoo .only a soap.
The breakfast is traditional Mexican breakfast. The fries (papas) are THE BEST. So good. The food at the restaurant is really good in general, we had most of our meals there. The view over the lake is just outstanding.
A bit too expensive but still fine, because it is a really nice hotel. There is no refrigerator in the rooms though but the rooms in general are really nice and I think they all are located so that you have a stunning view over the beautiful lake. Remember that you pay per person and not for the room, so if you have someone else staying over they will ask you to pay for the stay of that person too. No one in the staff speaks English. There is no ATM close so don't forget to withdraw cash before your trip because you have to pay 15 % tip in cash each time you go for breakfast. Also, without a car or taxi it is impossible to get a around and taxi drivers only accept cash. The closest ATM is like 20-30 minutes away.
The food was very good but a bit expensive
The rooms were very small and they looked old, the bathrooms smelled awful
The pool area is very nice!
The beds are too hard
