The rooftop hot tub after skiing/boarding
unfortunately our friends had to move to a sister hotel and we could not stay in the same hotel as we had planned. Even with an upgrade at the sister hotel (for the inconvenience) we were not easily together for activities like, grabbing b/fast together, the hot tub or meeting in one lobby... we had to be more organized than that.
Wow!! I was in the hotel during the off season and it was great. I was treated like a Queen. Every staff member went out of there way to help. I had several questions about the area and the staff were not only willing to answer my questions, they were truely excited to do so. I will be back!!!
I was on a studio suite, which had wonderful upgrades, but I wish there would have been an extra foot of room between the couch and bed (when the bed was turned down). The space is roomy enough during the day.
Its style, comfortable bed, peace at night, excellent quality and attractive furnishings and equipment (fridge, cooker, toaster, coffee maker, etc), very helpful staff, excellent location for the Grand Teton National Park, view of mountains. Overall, it was a really nice hotel and we were pleased we had chosen it. We would not choose an urban room again for the reasons below. Otherwise it was an excellent choice and we would recommend it. We didn't try the restaurant, so cannot comment on the Hotel Terra as being a Gourmet hotel
Building works outside our window from 8.30 am, no bedside tables & lamps in urban rooms (bed pulls down from the wall), noisy, self-cleaning jets in bath (1-2 hours after bath has been taken).
