Pros: Hotel is located in the Hot Springs park and enjoyed going to dinner at the Safari Club. Love looking at all the pictures in the hallway. Hot Tub always a blast to sit in! Room was clean and well taking care of.
Cons: Not much to dislike!
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was very nice
Cons: Very outdated, sheets were stained. And “breakfast” was pitiful. Not what I expected from a Wyndham property.
6.0 Good
Pros: We come to this hotel because of the outdoor hot tub.
Cons: I put a do not disturb sign on the door because I don't want to be disturbed early in the morning. When we left the hotel , before noon , I stopped at the front desk and asked to have my trash taken out while we were out. Trash was not taken. Not happy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good, the front office staff were kind and helpful. The man working the breakfast was nice but a mess.
Cons: I understood the theme they have going on in the entrance, halls and restaurant area but the rooms do not need to be left in the 80's.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was the best aspect of this hotel.
Cons: The worst part of this hotel is the flying bug problems inside the room. Swarms of them in the evening and we left window closed all day! The hotel is very dated and not kept in repair. We noticed a lot of damage to the ceiling which has not been fixed.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is amazing!! Very helpful. The hotel is great. Lots of history and taxidermy. Spent hours just looking around. Great value. Will be back for sure.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location inside the park, close to other hot springs buildings and attractions. Check in was fast and easy, staff very friendly. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Natural hot springs tub on site was awesome! Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Breakfast was just ok. 1st time I've seen a tip jar at a hotel with complimentary breakfast.. I thought very tacky of breakfast room staff person.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Not one thing this place is a dump
Cons: It is an absolute dump
7.0 Good
Pros: The decorations in the lobby and bar are interesting. A bar was available.
Cons: The free breakfast was below par for most places these days. They did not make much of an effort not even for regular yogurt which is hard to screw up. Not worth the money if they don't try a little harder. A big pile of cigarette butts in the parking
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Its own mineral pool

Cons: Very nice older hotel. Will definitely stay there again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the mineral hot spring fed hot tub. The location in the middle of the state park was lovely.
Cons: You have to get used to the sulfur smell due to the hot springs. The pool is not heated and was freezing. My children did not seem to care though.
4.0 Okay
Pros: My husband and I and our three kids enjoy staying at the Best Western in Thermopolis Wyoming we love that it's just right inside the State Park Wheel of that it's just a little friendly hotel.
Cons: We did not like that the refrigerator did not work at all we were on the second floor of a hotel where the windows would not lock or close all the way the curtains were torn there was an electrical outlet that was burnt
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Better than most! Would like to have real orange juice. Would like to have eggs that were fresh cracked... But at least the eggs appeared to be real eggs, not liquid out of a carton or reconstituted.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: very noisy during the night
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room with nice amenities. Conveniently located not far from the highway (but far enough to eliminate traffic noise) and next to Hot Springs State Park. One of the better complimentary breakfasts to be had.
Cons: Lack of elevator and open-air hallways (but that at least face a fenced courtyard, so no security concerns there) are very slight annoyances, but such things are the price you pay for staying in a beautiful old building.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location was inside park. If staff got their act together it might be a good place to stay. Bedroom furniture was Lodge Pole. That was nice.
Cons: Anne who was working the desk on Check in was the rudest person I have dealt with checking in to any Hotel. I was so pissed at her less than adult behavior that I even called their Headquarters. It was obvious that her headquarters was just handling me and did not care either. I use this app all the time and have never slammed any hotel this hard. Most often I write good things. In this case all I can do is say shame!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building was historic but the accommodations provided by Best Western Plus were up to date and very nice!

Pros: I thought it was the greatest bed I had slept in in a long while. really verry comfortable.
6.0 Good
Pros: Unique room, was quaintly decorated.
Cons: We Had the handicap accessible room which was fine and I shouldn't complain because I know these have to meet certain criteria, but the shower and bathroom (toilet) are one open area with a curtain...not the most comfortable because then the bathroom floor is all wet and there's just a curtain hanging over the door...not much privacy between friends and the toilet.

Pros: Location
Cons: The managers arguing in office. Room smelled like dog.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The lady that checked us in was very nice and you could tell she was trying to hold the place together by working her butt off. My husband liked the chairs outside where you can sit and relax and watch people.
Cons: It needs alot of work. There was a big tarp covering up junk in the parking lot. The TV didn't work, and the thing that bothered us the most was that we saw advertised a continental breakfast but there was just coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host goes above and beyond to make your stay better. Couldn't ask for more. 10/10. 5
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was basic but very clean and decorated nicely. It also had a bunk bed which would be nice for families with children.
Cons: The bed needed a new mattress and there wasn’t a heater in the room. They did have a notice saying to request one at the office but we didn’t realize we needed one until it seemed too late to ask for it.
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and homey.
Cons: Hot water took forever to come in, and host later told us it takes 10 to 15 minutes for it to get hot.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Very nice day manager. Cute decor. Good location. Warm, almost too warm though.
Cons: Really terrible bed. Poor customer service: night manager was upset that we arrived late due to bad weather and took 20+ mins to check us in. No coffee 1 of 2 mornings. The walls were thin as paper; we could easily hear into all rooms all around us. Toilet wobbled, shower caulking was peeling off and got caught in the drain.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I loved the old fashioned care we received. Thank you!
Cons: It's pretty dated but was good for what we needed.
7.0 Good
Pros: The 2 seperate bedrooms and 2 TVs
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Although advertised there was no WiFi. Bad smells, exposed wires. Weird air conditioning.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location, that's its.
Cons: Very rude manager. When we checked in his mother was very helpful with info. about the town. Then a couple hours later ( the manager) he, sends his mother (the nice lady who checked us in) to tell us we only booked a single queen room and she gave us a double not to use the other bed or we would be charged extra. The swamp cooler of air conditioning blew so hard you had to open a window for air to escape. The pictures on booking. Com must of been taken years ago. If your looking for a place to stay and drive up to this place you will not stop to stay there.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location was great. Could walk downtown or to the hot springs.
Cons: Unfortunately this is a “where to start” We tried to pay for the room, almost $80, with a $100 bill, the gentleman checking us in was nice, but couldn’t give us change so we ended up having to pay with a card. Annoying (because we had cash set aside for travels) but it was what it was. The room ended up being incredibly outdated with stains ALL over the boxspring, dirty shower curtain and our front door hardly shut. Checkout was 10am SHARP (warnings were posted several times in the room) and said if you left anytime after that you’d be charged another night stay. That’s a little overkill we felt and 10am seemed way early for checkout, even 11am is normal! We wanted to leave our car in the parking lot in the morning to walk and grab breakfast, but no one was on site to make sure that was okay so we didn’t dare due to them possibly charging us for checking out late. We stopped by the Safari Club for a beer later at the Days Inn (really close by) and the room was only $20 more a night with A LOT more to offer. I hate to say it but going with the locally run hotel didn’t pan out this time and we were really disappointed with our room costing so much for so little.
7.1 Good
Pros: staff was great, but this place is old and needs refurbished badly. they make do with what they have, and it was clean. it was the most expensive motel on our 4 day trip, but easily the least desirable. Granted, Thermopolis is an expensive town, and all the motels were priced higher than the other towns we visited, but we sure didn't feel like we got our money's worth. btw.. a swamp cooler is not a "western air conditioner", and keeping a window open for air flow seemed a bit risky for that neighborhood.

Pros: staff was awesome and considerate for covid19 times. I liked the phone call I got early in the day welcoming me to the hotel.
Cons: mattress and pillows were hard as a rock
