Pros: Clean hotel with a friendly staff and a great location. Rooms were large and the rooftop was lovely.

Cons: This hotel was decidedly 'not bad.' The rooms were boring, the breakfast was the worst I had in Tunisia, the massage was shorter than advertised, and the dinner wasn't anything special. Nothing was bad, but hardly anything felt worth its price here.

Pros: Charming boutique hotel. Very nicely arranged, lovely inner courtyard. The hammam was excellent.

Pros: This guesthouse was beautiful, with lots of charming architectural and decorative details, and our room had all the modern amenities you would expect from a nice hotel. Staff were exceptional and were happy to assist with booking local tours; we were very pleased with all their recommendations. There was a nice variety of items in the included breakfast. The guesthouse was able to accommodate our request for a vegetarian dinner and we had a delicious and inventive three-course meal. The location was great, within easy walking distance of the medina/market, as well as cafes and restaurants. The area was calm and quiet at night. Just book it—you won’t regret it!

Pros: Beautiful house with an inner court. We visited in the winter so could not enjoy lingering in the courtyard. Nice breakfast and accommodating staff.

Cons: As mentioned above, it was cold when we visited. We had the heating on but could not really warm up the room sufficiently. Nevertheless we had sufficient blankets and ended up being very cozy.

Pros: Very central location. Room extremely comfortable and well-appointed. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to assist us in booking our excursions. I definitely recommend this property and will return.

Pros: Nothing. When I arrived it was locked. I called their number and no answer. I knocked on the door. No answer. Spent 29 minutes calling and knocking. Nothing. Was forced to find alternate accommodation.

Pros: Delightful house close to the Medina and town center. Excellent decor. Comfortable bed and furniture. Delightful courtyard. Friendly host. Great breakfast in a marvelous common room.

Pros: The ambience is exceptional. Very well decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom is large with plenty of counter space by the sink. The upper terrace and downstairs courtyard both have charm. This was one of the nicest properties we stayed in in Tunisia. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Sorry we didn’t get to meet the owner.

Pros: really comfy bed, gorgeous garden/pool area. breakfast was lovely and they accommodated us even when we slept in and missed the 10am cut off (oops!). staff were wonderful and the location on the edge of the oasis makes it really peaceful.

Pros: The breakfast was good. The location was good - a short stroll into town, and close to cafes and the palmeriae. Staff were helpful. The room had a tv and bathroom and was good value.

Pros: The property met most of my expectations. Lovely rooms, decent location, clean, equipped. Nice atmosphere, video surveillance for the car. The pool looked nice, but it was off season to give it a try.

Cons: I was very surprised that I didn't have warm water to take a shower in the evening. When I talked with the reception, they told me that I had to wait an hour in order for the water to get warm. Even after an hour the water was barely warm. Taking into account that winter nights in the desert are cold it wasn't a good experience.

Cons: No heat 2 nights, no water one morning. Made it impossible to get good sleep. Had to ask for hair dryer. Lousy breakfast - margarine, packaged jam, veg oil cheese. Coffee and orange juice ok. One hard boiled egg.

Cons: The room was freezing and not very clean. We have stayed at this property several times before and it just seemed to get a little worse each time. The last time we didn’t have hot water for showers, but it was warm so not a big deal. We had booked for 3 nights but left after the first night. We will not be back

Pros: The owner and the staff are quite friendly and helpful, they helped us to exchange our room per our request without additional charge as a very kind offer. The location is very good, close to the big market and medina.

Cons: The facilities inside the room needs checking and repairing. The options of food in breakfast are relatively limited.

Pros: The only good thing about this place áre the receptionist. Jassem is amazing and very helpfull. food is ok.

Cons: The place is just TERRIBLE. The shower was freezing so we just couldnt shower at all. The sheets áre old, beds áre old, and the heat was almost not working so the bedroom was very very cold. It does not look ay all ay the photos You see un booking.No apologies from the owner. I would not recomend this place , it's expensive and not comfortable at all.

Pros: The guest house is located in the centre of Tozeur,close to the train station,shops,restaurants, old city-medina and it's easy to find. It's a traditional stylish building with courtyards.The staff was very friendly and helpful and they can organise day trips to the tourist attractions near Tozeur.

Cons: The wifi wasn't working in my room on the first floor

Pros: The breakfast was very good, fresh orange juice, coffee, bread, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, cheese, marmalade, and yoghurt, it was very quiet at night, well maintained and clean. Close to shops and the souk, big market full of fresh fruits and vegetables. The owner and his sister have done a lot of work on this property and it shows. Loved the tour to the old villages, small waterfall and neat canyons. The trip to the desert was amazing, our driver was very skilled and I enjoyed what I saw.

Cons: I can not think of any dislikes. This location is far from the trodden path and well worth visiting.

Pros: The location was central , in a quiet neighborhood. The staff especially Jassem was very helpful and friendly. As I was leaving early, breakfast was arranged for me. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: TV inside my room is not functioning and cupboard cannot be used because being blocked by a shelves. Breakfast prepared a bit late even though we already asked for it to be prepared 30minutes earlier during check in (because the tour operator want to leave early the next morning), so didn't able to taste the breakfast.

Pros: I came to Tozeur not knowing much about what to do or how to get around and the staff were incredibly helpful in making my vacation stress free. They went as far as setting up camel rides for me and offering me cheap tours to all the sites around Tozeur. There was always someone at the front desk more than willing to help with a big smile, and I felt at home. This place really did exceed my expectations.

Cons: When I arrived I hadn't realized my room didn't have an air conditioner, and I was slightly disappointed. You have to pay an extra 5 euros a night for that. However, the staff are more than willing to change your room for you if you need to. But in the end this want a big deal because the Sahara gets cool during the night, and it actually felt really great to just open your door for an hour before bed and let the fresh cool air in.

Pros: This residence is located in the heart of old town of Tozeur, very convenience to access to the old medina, every restaurant in old town on foot. Owner and staff was so friendly and also shown a great deal of hospitality. It was clean and wide inside the room. You can relax on the teracce.

Pros: The pool and the spa was very good. The staff try to be helpful.

Cons: They switch off the air conditioning during the day. They say that they switch it off only for 2 hours during cleaning but that is not true. The rooms do not even have fans. The air conditioning in the common area such as the reception and bar is switched off during the day. Most of their clients are big tours who check in during the evening and leave the next morning. We had a few local friends who came to visit us and they were also horrified by how hot our room was. We were there during the 4th week of September, and things will be much worse during the summer months.

Pros: Upon arrival there was a fruit basket in the room. There were enough choices for dinner and breakfast, because the hotel had enough guests even during the low season.

Cons: No hot water availability for two days. No safe in rooms. Not even a glass avilable to drink water. Very bad room service. No tissue box in the room no heated pools.

Cons: Internet stopped working in room, so had to sit in bar to get online. Hotel is not in the location that Google Maps or Maps.Me give.

Pros: Awesome 4 star hotel that is amazing value with half board included (i.e. breakfast and dinner, which are very decent). Better price then I found for simple two star budget hotels elsewhere in Tunisia. All facilities as shown on the website (e.g. pools, bar, etc.) and reception staff very helpful to organise external tours, etc.

Cons: The location is a little bit of a walk to the Medina, but very manageable with cheap taxi and horse drawn carts! Be aware that the location given by booking.com and maps.me is not correct. Google map location from hotel name search is correct. Breakfast finishes at 9.30am and they appear to collect towels from the rooms for washing around the same time, so no real late sleep in! No Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Pros: Arrived with the night train to Tozeur so was there very early. The staff were helpful and they managed to get me a room before 10 am. The room, although a little walk from the reception, was great with a welcoming fruitbasket. The restaurant was amazing with a great buffe

Cons: Thinking of a negative thing but cant really find one. The hotel was not the absolute best but really, really great. I guess I could say that if I didnt have the "do not disturb" sign up the houeskeepers would constantly come knocking. But thats a real small and petty complaint

Cons: poor food (dinner)for this level of hotel. set menu with 2 choices. Buffet only appeared when groups arrived. great breakfast. Best to go out to eat. For the price you would expect a proper restaurant with chef and not just mediocre group food.
