Pros: Owner hospitality

7.1 Good
Pros: This is a lovely, spacious, clean hotel in Tozeur with kind staff and a solid - if not remarkable - breakfast. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is nice. My one complaint is that, compared to other locations throughout Tunisia, I think this hotel is very, very expensive for what you get.
Cons: The price - it is a nice hotel but - when compared with other hotels/dars throughout Tunisia - worth at least half, if not less, than what was paid.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Just a small suggestion, the breakfast is a bit simple, if have more choices will be better!

The hospitality of the staff from the manager through to the men who assisted with our luggage was outstanding.this boutique hotel has a lovely inner courtyard as well as a roof top terrace. Breakfast included was also very much appreciated. Nearby restaurants served some of the best meals we have had in Tunisia.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff, the room, breakfast became kind and happy feelings. I am grateful that the manager has taken the advice of the trip. I will use it again when visiting Tozeur.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was simple ( bread, cheese, egg, jam, juice, coffee) but filling. The staff were kind and we got by despite speaking very little of each other's language. The owner came to meet us and suggested some trips, he spoke very good English. There are restaurants close by, but we were limited to our choice because some were closed due to it being Ramadan. The location was close to the medina, transport and restaurants. The location was quiet at night.
Cons: If I have to pick something, I would say the pillow on the bed was a little too thick
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Awesome staff, very helpful and caring. The breakfast was awesome specially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The space is beautiful and comfortable as well as in an excellent location with respect to Medina, la Palmerie, Eden's garden and a number or restaurants and shops.
Cons: Bathroom was really tight, there were hardly space for the toilette with the lack of hangers and slow sewage of the shower.
7.1 Good
Pros: The manager of the place is very nice, speaks good English, and quite straightforward, honest and practical. He organised a sleepover in the desert for us on very short notice.
Cons: We weren't allowed to pay with credit card even though they had the facilities for it. We asked for an overnight trip in the desert, and we were promised an unforgettable experience. Our main worry was that it would be very cold at night (we went early March) so we asked the manager whether he thinks this is legitimate fear. He told us it's not and that it's the best time to go. We were told that we would join a group of 5, and that we will take a 4wd for a 2 hour drive, so we should prepare for a long trip. Based on this we assumed that we would go to the Grand Erg, where the true dunes are. The next day, our meeting time was pushed an hour later saying that it would be more convenient for us and for Mohammed as well (our guide). Fair enough. We met Mohammed at the meeting point (he was 10 minutes late). There was no sign of the group, so we assumed that they went ahead. We took a 4wd for a 20 minute ride and then we switched to foot/camel. We walked for a good 1.5 hours, and then we set camp at a seemingly random place. We asked our guide where the others are and he told us that the other group went somewhere else. Mohammed set up our tent, which was a torn, worn-out tent from Decathlon. Then Mohammed started to prepare the dinner which was a very good agneau couscous. After the dinner and some chat, we went to sleep. We got plenty of covers, but still, the night was FREEZING, so we didn't sleep much. In the morning, Mohammad prepared for us tea and galette, which was nice. Shortly after breakfast we headed back, this time almost entirely on a dirt road. Our guess is that what happened was that we were originally signed up to a proper Grand Erg trip with a group, but then this group cancelled, and our 100 euros bought us only this short trip in the outskirts of Zaafrane. So in a way it was authentically basic, but not quite what we expected (although it was never discussed in detail what we will get).
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location! The host will advise some tour, it is easy to explore the desert!
Cons: Small room!
6.7 Good
Cons: I booked the room and I mentioned my kids ages and they accepted the booking for the chosen room When I arrived to hotel, the receptionist asked me to add 10 € to get a bigger room because one kid doesn't has a bad, I answered it is OK I don't need a bigger room it is only for one night and she accepted and gave me the keys At 21:00 the other receptionist came 3 times to my room because of the issue and finally said that the boss is saying that there will be no break fast the day after We chosen to quite in the morning without break fast because of the bad management and dealing with clients
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I came to Tozeur not knowing much about what to do or how to get around and the staff were incredibly helpful in making my vacation stress free. They went as far as setting up camel rides for me and offering me cheap tours to all the sites around Tozeur. There was always someone at the front desk more than willing to help with a big smile, and I felt at home. This place really did exceed my expectations.
Cons: When I arrived I hadn't realized my room didn't have an air conditioner, and I was slightly disappointed. You have to pay an extra 5 euros a night for that. However, the staff are more than willing to change your room for you if you need to. But in the end this want a big deal because the Sahara gets cool during the night, and it actually felt really great to just open your door for an hour before bed and let the fresh cool air in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This residence is located in the heart of old town of Tozeur, very convenience to access to the old medina, every restaurant in old town on foot. Owner and staff was so friendly and also shown a great deal of hospitality. It was clean and wide inside the room. You can relax on the teracce.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pools. Tour to dessert.
Cons: Wifi non existing in the room. Juice not natural in breakfast.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool and the spa was very good. The staff try to be helpful.
Cons: They switch off the air conditioning during the day. They say that they switch it off only for 2 hours during cleaning but that is not true. The rooms do not even have fans. The air conditioning in the common area such as the reception and bar is switched off during the day. Most of their clients are big tours who check in during the evening and leave the next morning. We had a few local friends who came to visit us and they were also horrified by how hot our room was. We were there during the 4th week of September, and things will be much worse during the summer months.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location and breakfast, nice swimming pool
Cons: The receptionist changed the price through booking when we arrived to force us to pay more,at the booking we had already paid the taxes in the price of the room but the receptionist asked again to pay the the taxes, we have to wait 30 minutes to see the reservation in the system after driving in the desert for 5 hours in 40 degrees with motorbikes, dirty room, not enough sockets in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Classic resort on the edge of town, nice pool, nice bar, big spacious rooms. Swimming in a pool is nice relaxation after hot desert day.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room was of good size, comfortable, working AC and good shower. Always hot water when needed. Pool area was nice and pool of good temperature. As it’s a transit hotel for people going on safari pool side is either empty or really full. When full, no where near enough loungers. Food was ok without being over the top. If you were staying for more than a few days you would become frustrated with lack of options etc. but generally all food was fresh. Breakfast I had to ask for fresh eggs a couple of times. Crepes made in advance so cold and chewy. Usually I had to clean the baby chair before my daughter could use it. Generally the issues are down to a lack of staff and catering for such small amounts of people. A suggestion would be to have Al A crate options for god when quiet. Would probably save waste and make food fresher. It was frustration that during the day we could not order any food. A bar menu offering burgers, pizza etc would have been great and something for sure we would have used. No entertainment what’s so ever during the day or evening meaning it became a little boring as you don’t really have anything either outside the hotel. Overall the place has its issues and areas of improvement but I enjoyed the trip. It was clean and relaxed.
Cons: Lack of food options. Lack of things to do
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Two beautiful pools lovely surroundings most excellent staff lovely food. Treated like family nothing too much trouble. Best holiday ever.
Cons: nothing to improve on
7.9 Good
Cons: The hotel was very nice and I was very impressed with the quality of the service. It was a big Difference in the price bitwin online and at hotel reception less around 60 us doular
6.7 Good
Pros: the staff were super super friendly and cute with us
Cons: the drinks inside the hotel were so expensive
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, big rooms. Good amenities. Better than expected breakfast. Although did not use it, pools looked nice.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice garden
Cons: Room facilities and furniture

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 4 meeting rooms available for events. 3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The pool was clean and the bar was what you can expect from the facility.
Cons: The check-in was very friendly. The room was very basic and seems to be unchanged since the opening of the hotel . The housekeeping needs to pay more attention to the cleanliness and also to the punctuality (the cleaning was done late afternoon when we got back). The restaurant is a disaster, the equipment is outdated, the sheets are dirty, the floor is with the remains of the previous service, the service carts are out of this world for F&B and the cooks uniforms need to be changed (very dirty and not up to HACCP standards) . The food has no heart in it and therefore does not taste good. The breakfast presentation is really something they need to change as it makes everything looks unappealing. Overall is missing either the passion for hospitality or the knowledge for it from the management team.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Really I'm shocked it's not comfortable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Despite the fixtures and fittings in the rooms being a bit dated and in need of some tlc (remembering that tourism had been hit badly, in recent years) the place is actually quite good and I don't understand the negative comments it has received. Staff were professional and courteous at all times, despite rude guests. Food was very good and everything was very clean. Good value.
Cons: Fixtures and fittings need updating in rooms
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Service at the hotel is excellent. There is a huge atrium where you can play billard and where you can get good Drinks. So it´s perfect to relax with your Friends. The Rooms are very tidy and huge.
Cons: The buffet of the breakfast could be more varied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is with 4 stars standards, pleasant place, beautiful pool and near the city. Staff are welcoming, professional and assistive. Special thanks to Wajdi, Mohaned, Thamer from Reception Team. lasaad and Othman from Bar Team and Olfa from Housekeeping Team. All with other staffing are doing their best to satisfy all guests. Well done Guys
Cons: Tozeur is such a beautiful town that I won’t hesitate to visit again and be in same hotel. Special thanks to Nordine the guide who assisted us in our excursion, very knowledge and informative
