Hotel Relais Saint Jean Troyes

Interesting different approach through tunnel - well decorated - from car park to hotel reception. Third floor room was well laid out and with plentiful space although wardrobe space should have been wider to easily accommodate clothes. Staff were courteous and very helpful in finding a restaurant which we visited on two evenings(Felix - excellent with brilliant atmosphere). Breakfast was first class with plenty of choice and, for the price, good value; I have paid more for less elsewhere. Troyes is superb with a young student population and consequently a vibrant atmosphere. Cathedral and its stained glass windows is outstanding - better than Chartres?

Nothing really, although finding Hotel de Ville car park in a one way system is a challenge.

Very atmospheric old building right in the center of the pedestrianised roads. Excellent for all of the restaurants. Underground parking. Very secure for motorcyclists. Good wide choice breakfast.

I was given a small room, but I am nit -picking as there is nothing I can say that would make this hotel not the place to stay when visiting Troyes.

Very central location in a beautiful building. Great breakfast with cheeses in perfect condition and lovely croissant.

The bed was fitted in to the eaves so you had to be careful getting in to bed. The carpets in the bedroom were a little worn
