What Huntington Beach hotel guests are talking about
Horrible staff, some times my room was cleaned, nothing like sleeping in a room over flowing with your trash, front desk was even worse to deal with, they assume you know about the $10 a day parking and the tubes of tooth paste that are behind their counter and not in the room where it should be or the deposit for a hundred dollars that when you check out they don't even look at the room and you have to wait for them to decide when it gets released back on your credit card. The only plus is the location which is why they know you'll put up with their behavior and methods. I always like to give the independent owners my business but in this case it was a mistake.
PROS: The location next to freeway was great and parking was easy.CONS: The rooms need to be updated and cleaned better. Our bathroom sink counter had a huge gash out of it (a foot long) and they painted over it with black paint. The bathroom floors had hair from the last person in the room. Nothing was open in the hotel for service but they still charged the full fees. And the number one reason it sucked is there was a TRANSIENT TAX on our room, we were not told about and it is crazy! California is crazy.
