Overview

Staying at the Costa Mesa Marriott is a great choice because of its excellent location, it is just a short drive from John Wayne Airport and the beaches of Newport are a short drive away while the Segerstrom Center for the Arts is nearby to provide some culture. However, you need not leave the grounds of the hotel to enjoy yourself, there is some great dining on site with the breakfast options and the different dinner options such as room service, local restaurant delivery, and an on-site convenience shop. Hemingway’s is the restaurant and it serves food throughout the day that is best described as classic American cuisine. The fitness center and outdoor pool are a great way to enjoy yourself and get the working out in so you remain on schedule.

There are a few different choices in rooms at the Costa Mesa Marriott including various versions of a one bedroom suite featuring two queen beds, a single king bed, low floors, lake views, high floors, a city view, and a balcony. These rooms all have larger desks so you will have no problem stretching out your work and getting on the Wi-Fi to finish a job. The rooms are decorated with floor to ceiling curtains that will black out the room at night if you desire, and the television comes with premium channels that come through an HDTV.

When it comes to an Orange County trip, there are many hotels you could stay at, but the best experience is found when guests decide that they will be staying at the Costa Mesa Marriott.

Cons (-) The staff at hotel had not been contacted by Get-ARoom.com....had a ridiculous time checking in...the 2nd night we were locked out in the evening because the staff did not have us registered...took at least 30 minutes to get half way straighted out...actually, never was straightened out, but they finally let us in the room....I may not use KAYAK again!!!!!

Pros (+) I love the pool area, and a staff member even gave out free Popcycles to the kids! Staff also quickly brought us a crib all set up and ready to use. I like that there is a seperation between rooms.
Cons (-) Rooms are on the small side, but suited our needs. It would be a tight squeeze with more than 2 kids.
