Food was very good and people working in restaurant are great. I must say as well that manager of the hotel was very nice person and reacted properly for our complaints (finally upgrading our room etc.)
Check-in was a real nightmare, very unprofessional behavior of receptionists in dangerous situation when we really needed help from them. When I complained about it they even didn't say sorry. What is more, in almost empty hotel (entire stay we spotted about 10people only) they gave us room with a view for the wall/exit road (opening the window you could touch cars passing through). Don't count on spa zone neither, massage I ordered was like somebody's "idea about what the massage is" not a professional treatment. In general this is not what you expect from 5star hotels, especially the price is not adequate to the standard. Leaving there over 600 pounds bill for two days I thought that this is just not fair. They just shouldn't be a 5star.
Clean good service
Tsaghkadzor town is in walkable distance and provide a couple of eat-out options. There is also a bank where you can exchange currency. The hotel staff are friendly and understand English.
It feels more of a 3 Star Resort and cannot be compared with 5 Star Marriotts elsewhere. Atleast the Standard Cottage room we got was very small and did not match with the photos in the website. And things kept falling apart like the bathroom door handle etc. which shouldn't be the case in a 5 Star facility. The selection in the breakfast buffet is also very less. Also you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the cottage rooms as they don't have a buggy provision.
All in all was perfect
