The room was comfortable.
Location to train station. Staff was very accommodating and helpful; English was spoken by most staff. Bathroom was large. Nice balcony with a view of the street — very nice. Sheets fresh and clean. Bed was comfy firm with adequate number of pillows.
Old and dated. Rooms need updating badly. Holes in floor felt under laminate in room and under thread-bare carpet in hallway.
Location was perfect for me, close to the railway station. Room was comfortable, bed extra comfy.
Breakfast was sufficient.
Nothing really... The gentlemen at the lobby were helpful or they have a lot of free time. Dunno.
The hotel is pretty dirty. It looks like nothing is cleaned in the entire hotel including the carpets at the entrance, rooms and hallways. The breakfast is not there even it says it's included. If you go to breakfast at 7 am, you can find one slice of cheese. If you go there around 9 am you can barely find anything to eat. In our stay we asked for cheese and egg each morning and we were told that they were ran out of cheese and egg. It was a lie as we saw the elderly woman who works there, wears black all the time and walks like a zombie was eating cheese inside the kitchen in front of us. Some locals came and asks for cheese and egg and she was panicked as she had to serve them (maybe they are owners or something ..). She sent one waitress from the other door without letting us see it because they actually got cheese and egg. You can find better places to stay. Avoid this hotel if you can. If you really have to stay there, find cheese and bread during the breakfast and store them in your room for the next days. Think like it's the zombie apocalypse and you will survive in this hotel.
A stay at Hotel Due Mondi places you in the heart of Turin, within a 15-minute walk of Galleria Sabauda and Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GAM). Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
