The level of service from the polite and friendly but very professional staff was excellent. The food was also of a very high standard. The staff made a real effort to ensure that we were happy and well attended to without being overbearing.
Arguably too many weddings and parties during our stay for what we wanted to be a quiet, romantic and relaxing weekend break I.E. 2 weddings, 2 large birthday parties and a golden wedding party plus 2 smaller parties (1 lunch and 1 dinner)over 2 days in what is a relatively small hotel. However the staff did their utmost to ensure that guests who wanted peace, quiet and relaxtion were also catered for and mostly succeeded !

A very pleasant, welcoming hotel. Relaxing, comfortable with very good restaurant. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Produced a most beautiful, homemade birthday cake on request!

The willingness of the staff to help us and to attend to our needs. I was unhappy with the first rom we were given, but it was changed very quickly, and with no fuss. The food was excellent - the breakfast was great and dinner was also very good.
The TV in the room was a bit small, but I am nit-picking.
