Friendly staff and helpful at dinner when my wife was feeling unwell with cold.
Room was small and quite dark compared to rooms in similar establishments in the area, seemed not as good value for the price paid. While staff were very helpful, the owner seemed a bit rude towards a guest at breakfast while being friendly to others and ourselves.
Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. A relaxing and interesting place to stay in a great location. Lots of photographs and pictures to add to the interest.
Location, food( dinner and breakfast)
The initial check in with a lovely lady who spoke English. Made me feel very welcome. Helped with phone calls when I had list my wallet. Shame other staff let the good experience down
I don't speak/read Italian & the waiter at dinner made me feel very awkward that I didn't understand & wouldn't help me. Very rude The same at breakfast when i'd arranged an early checkout. Spoilt the entire stay. Info not accurate for facilities at the hotel. No swimming pool!
The fact that it was there and we didnt have to sleep outside
The woman, I think the owners daughter was very unfriendly. We noticed she didnt like us from the start. Unfortunately this was the only place in the area that was open. (We were hiking alta via 2 and had no car). They try to push you to eat a 25 euro menu. Wifi is not good. Apparantly theres a pool according to the description but we only read that after we left, nobody told us about this. They seem not to tell you anything if you dont ask for it (wifi, lowest fare, possibility to eat a la carte,...). Most huts in the area that can only be reached by donkeys offers you full board for 47 euros and a free smile on the owners face, so this place was severely overpriced. They have too many waiters just staring at you while you struggle to understand the overpriced menu that is only in italian. Im sorry, but if you're the only accomodation that's open along a major hiking trail you should be more accomodating towards hikers, foreigners and people on a budget. If you just prefer rich italians with cars as customers (at least thats the type of customers your menu aims for) you should open a hotel in a different place.
