Albert is amazing!!! Take the aqua bus at th3e bottom of the hill.
The hotel atmosphere and amenities are great but some of the staff members that I had to deal with on 3/14 and 3/16 were very unprofessional, accusatory and stuck up. The Chinese looking man with eyeglasses working on the evening of 3/14 was not service oriented whatsoever. The day after, he almost ran to tackle the food delivery person that I was waiting to meet in the lobby. There is no lunch or dinner offered at the hotel so I ordered in from a local restaurant instead. The front desk girl working on 3/16 was a know it all, arguing with me instead of calling her manager or corporate to resolve an issue that was out of her scope of expertise.
Please provide more information for guests, such as maybe manager business cards at the front desk. The guest should not be made to feel like a hostage in the hotel, dependent on a whim of a prejudiced staff member, especially at a brand of this level.
Okay for a few days
Modern, nice amenities, not so expensive mini bar, great views out the 4th floor windows, and generally comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, also quite mindful, which led to a good stay as well. The rooms are pretty spacious. The showers are okay. The buffet breakfast options are decent and worked perfectly for us while we stayed. And finally staying here is pretty straightforward which makes for a smooth experience.
Wi-Fi was terrible, Rogers reception (which is what my AT&T Mexico line automatically connects to) is intermittent which meant keeping my phone charging constantly as it fought to get better signal. There's also two towers going up next to and behind the hotel which I know is temporary but can be bothersome. It wasn't noisy so don't worry about that, but the hotel is on the ramp leading up to the bridge off Granville Street already so... yeah... Also the restaurant is only open through breakfast. It would be ideal for this place to have both room service and/or a restaurant that could cover your needs through the day.
Friendly and helpful staff, the location was ideal for the activities we had planned.
Great location, posh!, Friendly, safe
The wow factor, the great price. The fitness center was dope. A great way to ring in the new year, well worth the drive and flight
There wasn't,t anything we didn't,t like!
Parking was free. Withing walking distance from tourist spots, yet close to other interesting sites outside downtown.
Great value for the money, excellent location. Som
Value: exceptional. For the price of a 'name brand' one bedroom, we got a 2 bedroom suite in a convenient location with nice amenities. Bonus for sky line views of the city from floor to ceiling windows. Location: great. Right across the water from the Granville public market. A couple minutes walk to the waterfront. 5 to 10 minute walk to some really nice restaurants. Unexpectedly good amenities: all day bike loan, hot tub on 9th floor, gym, gated garage, in unit washer dryer, keurig coffee machine in room, whirlpool in unit.
Not 100% polished: our kitchen sink was stained brown near drain, night stands had backs that bulged out, there was a part of a wall in one of the bedrooms that looked like out had been repaired and primed, but not painted. I found these to be minor, cosmetic issues that didn't remotely detract from the extraordinary combination of features, location and value.
Best price for location close to family living there. Enjoyed the wine-tasting in the lobby....Fun to meet others and the Night Manager?, a friendly kind of guy.
Decent hotel. Great staff.
How seedy the surrounding area is. Breakfast not included. Didn't looks as classy as the pictures but was ok.
Overall lot was a good experience
Roman/bathroom were very nice and clean
Breakfast not included
Great location, great price, roof top hot tub.
Hotel has aged and needs some updating.
Great for a quick trip with friends
Great location with many clubs/bars/restaurants walking distance by or a short cab ride away. Our room was very small and the double beds were more like a single. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Would likely stay agin. Definitely worth the price.
We did have a weird stain on one of our blankets, and the size of the beds were a bit small.
