Samesun Vancouver

Set in a restored 1908 building, Samesun Vancouver is a hip hostel in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. The trendy backpacker hostel offers a unique social experience in an upscale, artistic setting.

The hostel features 69 shared and private rooms. The clean, well-designed shared rooms consist of six- and four-bed dormitories. Dorm rooms are offered in mixed gender and female-only. All guests staying in dorm rooms receive a locker with lock and key to keep their belongings safe, as well as a reading lamp near their bed. Private rooms feature flat-screen televisions, a mini-fridge, comfortable bedding, air-conditioning and heating, and shared or en suite bathrooms. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet is available for guests.

A complimentary breakfast is served each morning consisting of bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. Guests can order lunch and dinner from the menu of the onsite Beaver Restaurant, located on the lower level of the hostel. The restaurant regularly hosts events, musical performances, and social affairs. There is a well-stocked communal kitchen for guests who prefer to buy their own groceries and cook for themselves. The kitchen contains a stove top, refrigerator for food storage, and cookware.

Guests can relax in the movie room or stylishly designed lounge area with a pool table, computers with headsets, and a book exchange. Laundry services are available for an additional fee. A spacious patio offers a relaxing setting to socialize, read, or work. The front desk offers free luggage storage after the 11 am check-out time.
