room too small for two people.

There was a nice àuthententic descrete professional ` feel` about the hotel although a bit dusty. Fresh flowers everyday in the reception and just one single smile from the personal would have made a great difference.

The entrance is dark and dusty with old Londoner chairs, so old you can not sit in them. The breakfast was very poor, bread that was dry (one each´) and on good days a crossaint to share, no fresch fruit, no nice new baked bread, no cheese. We chose to go to a bar afterwards to have a real breakfast. In our hotel room (very very small on top floor) we did not have pressure on the shower water two days. No desk in room so you could do a bit of work. The hotel entrance space itself could be made so nice dooing a few things like a little more lighting in ceiling, new furniture, fresch flowers. Main space at top floor was nice to look at although tapestry (fake) frescoes in cieling. Nice window to the canal - this could have been a nice place in the evenings to sit and have a chat if it was furnished in a lees monumental and more comfortable way. It was like the hotel was something once but they have fogotten to be present in a modern world.

Position was very good. Room was acceptable.

Very rude and unfriendly staff. Dirty bathroom. Dirty reception areas. Dangerous (and dirty) steps to first floor.
