The Salt Spring Inn restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bar with drafts and a wine list is also open. Guests of the Inn at Salt Spring can enjoy the outdoor deck or relax by the fireplace in the lounge area. Fulford Harbor is less than 20 minutes’ drive from the inn. Pros: Lovely room 4 at the end of the corridor. Pleasant decor and a welcome gas fire. As travellers without a car it was great to be centrally located..and near the bus stop. We enjoyed the range of vegetarian food in the restaurant downstairs including some brilliant pizzas and a vegan vegetable and coconut curry.
Cons: A slip mat in the shower would help

Pros: Staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. The inn is very close to the village of Ganges.
Cons: Long-term guests would smoke for long periods outside their rooms. This cigarette smoke wafted into our room. Also: the motel had many features in disrepair, including wooden railings, deck tiles, and leaky gutters.

Pros: We got upgrade to a room with a kitchenette, which had everything you would need to bring food and cook it in the room. The owners are super friendly and hospitable. We had cable tv and wifi. A great view of the ocean. The sheets and towels were very clean. We loved the breakfast. Very comfy pillows!!!! The beds were fairly comfy as well.
Cons: We walked into the room and every surface was caked in dust as if it was cleaned a week prior to us checking in and no one had touched it up since. The room smelt like mildew and mold. We had to open the door and window for about an hour to air it out. I had to dust the whole room. My son was up all night coughing from how dusty the room was. I would suggest maybe some maintenance in the rooms, like carpet cleaning the carpets, getting the curtains cleaned and more regular washing of the blankets that go on the bed. Everything was very dusty.

Cons: I can't say that I liked sharing a bathroom with another guest since I would have preferred having our own bathroom. However, this didn't take away from an excellent stay.

Pros: The location was great. Blue Cat is close to the centre of Ganges, but realistically still a car ride in, not walkable. The taxi is easy to book for a drinking evening in Ganges, leaving the car behind. It was the perfect base for further exploration of the island. Chris was an amazing hostess - very friendly, helpful and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A beautiful place with great breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Pros: Everything about this place was great except one major thing for me... I came here to relax and enjoy some sleep-ins as I’m always up by 6:30am. But I was not told that there would be renovations happening directly below me starting at 8am every day and continuing throughout the day. Had I known this I would definitely have found different accommodations. I was not told about this and very disappointed because if this hadn’t been the case it would have been great. But unfortunately for me one of the #1 things about a great holiday is a great sleep-in. Not the case at all here.

Cons: There were no drawers to put cloths in. There was no hook in bathroom to hang cloths. There were no face cloths-when we asked staff they brought us 2 small hand towels. We were on the 2nd floor and there was renovations going on below us-a jackhammer was going most of the day the full day we were there.

Pros: The hostess was welcoming and very accommodating. She prepared and delivered to our room delicious breakfasts each morning. The view from our balcony was lovely and the natural setting and garden area were very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing.
Cons: The location was a little farther from the Ganges town centre than expected. We didn't want to make the trek into town for dinner in the evening fearing that if we enjoyed a few drinks, we may get stopped for drinking and driving. We were also informed that cab service in town was very limited.

Cons: - the room was not very clean: it was dusty everywhere. we had to clean a lot in order to feel comfortable (we would have liked to tell the owner of the B&B but she was not there when we checked in - the "yacuzzi" was very old ans small and it was not inviring to get in - towels diod not smeel fresh and we think some of the small towels had not been changed by mistake from the previous guest - there were spider nets in the corners, and several bif spiders in the room and in the bathroom It needs a big clean-up and some maintance. the place is really expensive in comparasion to other accomodations in the island and the services are not according to this price.

Pros: This place was crazy beautiful!!!! The view was unreal. The room is farmhouse style which I love love. Was super clean, huge patio doors with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. They made a home made breakfast that was so delicious and filling!! Fresh fruit, yogourt, home made muffins, homemade omelette with mushrooms, croissants, homemade hash browns, coffee, tea, orange juice water and so much more. It was really fantastic we absolutely loved it! Everything.

Pros: The location was close to Ganges. There are some nice decks and a gazebo. Very reasonable price and a good continental breakfast
Cons: Too much smoking. It is also very dated.

Pros: Basic cleanness sheets towel bedding were properly clean. the room it self need a thourgh cleaning. drapes smelt, under furniture was very dusty, cobwebs. plugging of appliances were acwaed to use.
