Located a few steps from the emblematic República Square in the centre of Viana do Castelo, Pensão O Laranjeira is a family-run establishment that offers well-lit rooms with free WiFi that portrait old traditions of the city. Each air-conditioned room is equipped with a cable TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms include a terrace with views for the mountain where the Santa Luzia Church stands. The whole property has been refurbished and now its 3rd generation of owners decided to tell the story of the family. On the ground floor guests will find a restaurant serving traditional local cuisine and renowned Portuguese wines. The breakfast is included in the rate and is served at the restaurant every morning. The staff at O Laranjeira will gladly indicate best locations to visit as well as the best hiking trails that highlight the natural beauty of the region. Located next to the Costume Museum and a 5-minute walk from the Cultural Centre of Viana, the Municipal Library and the Lima River, this guest house is just 350 metres from the train station. Porto International Airport is 60 km away.
