The hotel is ok. It is very close, 2 blocks from the Petra ruins door, so that makes ir specially appealing to the people who are backpacking and on foot. However, if you have rented a car you may consider stay somewhere else. The hotel includes breakfast but the quality of the food is so low that you might as well get your own anyways. Rooms are somewhat clean, but there's no comfort at all. In a few words, it is the hotel to stay for one night, in which you don't have many expectations of anything else than a single bed and a walking distance to the Petra ruins. If that's your goal, then stay there since it is very cheap.
Breakfast is bad.

Very close to Petra entrance, bright and clean with great views, very nice staff.
The restaurant food and free breakfast were virtually inedible. Inexcusably bad. The desk staff, while friendly, was not in full command of common English, which one would expect in such a world class tourist draw, and they lacked information about the admittedly spotty transport services to Amman.

Hotel is very close to Petra entrance. Free wifi. Staff tried to be helpful.
Small Rooms and beds. General comfort of the room was not great. However, I cannot agree with some of the very negative reviews I read: wifi is free and water is hot (at least until 9 pm, then gradually becomes colder). There are better hotels close by, for a little more money, but this one is acceptable for a couple of nights.
