Michel & Friends Hotel Waldkirchen

The hotel is very well situated for visiting the Bavarian Forest, which was the reason for our stay. There are hiking and mountain biking trails right at the front door, and the staff was well prepared with information. Although we did not use the available bikes, they looked to be in good condition. The fitness room was adequate, but nothing special. The same can be said of the breakfast: OK, but nothing to write home about.

Parking was a real issue, as the lots were always quite full. Though the cleaning staff were certainly friendly, their method of piling dirty sheets and towels in the hallways during breakfast time left an unpleasant impression. There were also boxes stacked in the stairways, and corridors were used for linen storage.

Great breakfast, the swimming pool nearby, superb loan in front of the balconies, the location is great, near the forrest, you can go for a long nice walk
