Very nice traditional ryokan, very friendly and helpful staff.
Thank you for taking good care of each of my family. We had a really wonderful experience here. The place is clean and comfortable, the food (dinner & breakfast) is awesome, and each staff is friendly and willing to help. We do hope to visit here some day in the future.
Very convenient location: right on the Onsen street, across from one of the public Onsen. short walking distance to other amenities, bus station, ski lifts. And as many others have commented the meals don’t disappoint!
The location was really good from the bus station, I had a very nice room and in the morning, the lady helped me to toast my bread which was nice of her as she was busy with preparing breakfast for other guests. I had dinner there and it was really good. Stayed 3 nights and could have stayed more.
We chose this ryokan specifically because we heard the food is amazing—and we were not disappointed. The dinner and the breakfast were absolutely fantastic. The rooms were spotless and warm, the bathrooms clean, the futon comfortable, the coffee tasty and the onsen fantastically warm and refreshing.
There was nothing we disliked. Do be aware that this is a ryokan, not a hotel. The room is a traditional Japanese room plus a sink. The bathroom and bath facilities are shared. The ryokan is about 4 minutes from the station.
