The staff were very helpful. There is a big kitchen equipped with full facilities for us to cook supper and breakfast. Besides the recreational room has table tennis, table soccer and other games to keep us busy.
There is no lift and our rooms were at the top floor. For elderly this hotel is not recommended as they will need to climb staircases.
This is a truly great accomodation. The room is very spacious, it has three separate spaces, bathroom and toilet are private and very spacious and clean. The best for us were the traditional beds. The mattresses are very comfortable and the blankets are thick and light like clouds. The traditional breakfast was excellent, as well as the facilities (e.g. kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you wish, laundry, private onsen and free coffee machine). We would like to highlight the remarkable service of the staff. They are amazing people, always looking forward to making you feel welcome and comfortable. They made a great difference in our stay. The building seems old but it is well-preserved. The common areas are full of light and with their own character. We stayed here three nights and, honestly, we didn't want to leave. This place is highly recommended!
Breakfast was great. Coffee for free. All staff very friendly..
All was well
The staff were very helpful, and the onsen was terrific. I enjoyed the large, traditional Japanese breakfast, free coffee downstairs, and ping pong in the ground-floor reception area.
Nothing, I loved it and would happily return.
The chef, Hidei, is also your shuttle driver. The ONLY thing better than his English is his cooking. Make a reservation but leave your belt in the room. Lots of delicious traditional cooking.
The hotel is old and it shows.
