Staff provided very little information and did not seem keen to work there (one guy actually smiled and spoke to us). During check-in the price was more as they use their own "rates" despite me presenting a reliable amd credible 'real-time' currency exchange app. Towles were $1 American. Coffee was $1.2-$2 American, and breakfast was stale cornflakes and white bread with jam, for only two hours (7-9am). The common area (cafe) was nice but they didn't serve, or at least advertise, for alchohol despite a sign saying "cafe and bar". The cafe never had music, or any sign of life or social atmosphere. The hostel does nothing to create a community and social home for travellers.
Central area. Very clean beds. Helpful with arranging buses to other cities.
- breakfast not as great as other hostels I stayed in Myanmar, only toast with jam or cereal. - female bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. - need to pay if you want a towel
Walkable distance to the Bogyoke market, Junction City & YMG area where there are good dining options Def value for money
Towel need to borrow if unacceptable. Should provide to a guest
Location was fantastic. It was within walking distance to many places.
The toilets could be bigger, brighter and cleaner.
