Pro " Luxurious, fancy, and huge hotel. I stayed for one night during Ramadan and had Iftar at the tent. It was delicious food. The morning when i left to airport. I forgot my driving license at the room. I called them to ask if they had found it in the room and they said yes. I wrote them an email with my contact info and address. My driving license was mailed out to me internationally in two business days. Really great staff and management. "
Con " It is massive. You ought to walk a serious distance from the entrance of the hotel to your room "

Pro " The staff were amazing across the board - super attentive and friendly. Special thanks to Karla from reservations who reached out to us before we arrived and made sure the hotel had all our room preferences catered to, as well as to Sabrine at the Oak Room who made us feel right at home at breakfast. Loved how they had thoughtful gifts for the baby and Sidr Honey for the adults upon check in, and also left complimentary water by our bedside during turndown service. Also loved the super spacious rooms, hotel spa, access to the marina promenade, and most of all - the incredible breakfast. WAY better than a generic buffet, we loved the well curated menu. French toast and shakshuka were big hits with the family! The food in the Oak Room and the Terrace were also spot on, would definitely visit more often if we lived in Abu Dhabi. The best part was that the stay was so relaxing and we didn't experience the usual rush/noise you tend to see during public holidays (we visited during Eid). "
Con " The pool is a tad bit small. Not a complaint, we were happy with it as it wasn't crowded when we went, but if you plan to be near the pool all day and are looking for something big and luxurious, this may not fit the bill. "

Pro " A nice huge property with different pools and other options! Was perfect for a friends group staycation! "
Con " The breakfast was not that great and neither was the pool bar food that we ordered one afternoon!! But the property and its views and other fun options like the abra ride etc made up for it!! "

Pro " What I like about my staying in Rosewood is that the location was epic , I enjoyed that it’s connected to a mall that had a large variety of restaurants both fine dining and fast food. In addition to the some boutiques. "
Con " Upon arrival my room wasn’t ready. I had to wait 4 hours to receive the rooms ( that said I received a call a day prior assuming things will be ready during my arrival ). Before entering my room I asked if baby cribs was available since that was my request during booking but they kept me waiting 2 hours for cribs every time I called to ask they said it’s on the way ,the truth of the matter is that the cribs was being fixed! Very unprofessional, Also the lady who connected me to front desk was so rude after my second call. Another comment is the breakfast buffet. The kitchen was located in the entrance area which was very smelly ( live kitchen ) and made it very crowded to enter and find a table. Customer service was bad and ignorance to guests requests. Overall it was a good stay, not booking again. "

Pro " No review available "
Con " Rude and Inappropriate behavior from the receptionist: we booked a room for our Nanny and asked the hotel to book it next to our room before our visit. on arrival, we found out that the nanny's room is on the same floor but very far from our room. After asking the receptionist if we can get a closer room as promised, he directly rejected this request and told us that "the nanny will not sweat if she walks her way to our room" No supervision on the kids' pool: after spending almost 40 min with my 10 months old baby in the kids' pool, a security guard came in asking me to get out of the water. It turned out that another baby pooped in the water. This might be an expected incident but it took them more than 30 min to inform the residents not to use the pool. "

Con " Nothing was there that i didn't like to be honest, however i was a little disappointed with Turtle Bay restaurant the food was not worth the money spent on it. Very little portion for such a price and the taste wasnt that great "
C$ 418
Pro " Location, breakfast and speed for check in "
Con " Maybe we were unlucky due to Eid holidays but i am starting to doubt the great reviews this hotel has: Let’s start with the huge checkin queue and with the room being ready after more than 1 hour, then waiting for another 45 minutes for our luggage to be send to the room...Ended up reaching the pool at around 6.30...pool was overcrowded, could barely find a sunbed , and no way of relaxing or swimming due to probably 70 kids, screaming, yelling, crying, playing games etc...the beach was almost inexistent and the water was full of stones. Food was limited , average and very expensive. Breakfast had the poorest selection, you had to wait in a queue for 30 min to get an omlette or pancakes; the so called orange juice was probably mixed with water, you had again all the screaming kids running and the entire vibe was like a school cafeteria and not a 5 star hotel. Safe to say that we left immediately after breakfast and we will never come back. Too bad for the great people working there and for the location of the hotel; it’s really not worth the money when there are much more nicer hotels next to it. "
