Overview

There are so many different sights to see in Amsterdam. This city is the center of Dutch culture and it’s known as the Venice of Northern Europe because it has canals just like the fabled Italian city. That said, when staying in Amsterdam, there are a lot of expectations travelers have. Many of those expectations involve incredible hospitality and service from hotels. Getting a hotel in the center of the city that provides great amenities and service isn’t easy to find, unless you have found the Conservatorium Hotel.

The Conservatorium Hotel is located right in the heart of Amsterdam. You can step outside and history is right there – the hotel even is in a historic building. With the Van Gogh museum just a few steps away, there is much to do in this area. You don’t have to worry about getting from the airport to the hotel either. The airport shuttle service ensures that you get from the airport to the hotel with minimal stress and that upon flying out you don’t have to worry about being late for the plane.

The hotel, known as “Amsterdam’s Living Room”, offers many services including a full-service spa. You can get pampered and then head over to the pool to relax. There is complimentary WiFi, an onsite restaurant, and comfortable, spacious rooms throughout the hotel.

The Conservatorium Hotel is one of Amsterdam’s great treasures. Book a room at this hotel if you are ready to have an absolutely fantastic experience in one of the world’s most interesting cities.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's prime location and spacious rooms, with many also highlighting the friendly and attentive staff. However, several reviews noted issues with service quality, including slow or inconsistent responses and billing problems. Cleanliness was also a concern for some guests, as well as the quality and organization of breakfast. While the building and interior design received positive remarks, improvements are needed in service, breakfast, and room maintenance to meet the expectations of a five-star hotel.

Major work being done in the main restaurant which is adjacent to the lobby. Really loud! They were serving food in the lobby but not enough tables. I could not get lunch. We should have been told in advance. Double story suite has dangerous stairs. This is our usual hotel in Amsterdam even though it is very expensive. Will reconsider in the future.
