Excellent location

It’s expensive for what it is.

The rooms are newly renovated and decorated in an attractive, eclectic way and are very clean.

Future guests beware of the following: 1) no one at reception except between 8 and 11am and 3 and 8pm--make sure you email or call the hotel if you're checking in outside this window 2) a very busy person attending to breakfast and reception at the same time, likely to lead to very slow service in both places 3) non-air conditioned hallways 4) no soap on the sink 5) bedside tables that resemble stools rather than bedside tables 6) no place to unload a vehicle in front of the hotel 7) no guarantee that there will be anyone at reception to help you even during the reception hours 8) noise coming from the restaurant below until at least midnight 9) no dedicated concierge service This hotel has the potential to be truly excellent as many other reviews contend, but the lack of staff for 24/7 desk service and the restaurant make it sure to experience disgruntled guests in the future. Even 2-star hotels have someone at reception for 24 hours. If not, staff make sure that they establish contact with guests beforehand, something that did not happen for our stay. If you elect to stay at this hotel, MAKE SURE TO EMAIL OR PHONE THE HOTEL TO ARRANGE YOUR ARRIVAL IN CASE YOU ARE UNABLE TO ARRIVE DURING THE RECEPTION HOURS .
