This hotel is beautiful but in no way is the service on a par with any 4-star hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff isn't trained, at all. For example: at check-in we pulled in, asked the valet abt getting us a bellman with a cart for our luggage & he told us to go inside & ask at the front desk. Ok, like OMG LOL are we employees here now? But the super-messed-up thing abt it is that *he* was the guy who was supposed to double as a porter. So what was that? The frontdesk staff is pleasant, but backchatty when you ask for things, like, "Well, if you want --" omigosh I want what I said. I understand that the trend now in hoteling is "Oh, we're all in this together, lulz, casual, like staying at a friend's house!" but in that case the place should be A LOT CLEANER AND MORE ORGANIZED.
This hotel is filthy, so while the new service trend is Ahaha, like staying with friends! If you stay at my house, I don't leave a comb from my last friend who stayed over on yr floor, I don't let you sleep on sheets with holes in them & before you wake up on Sunday morning, I have my kids go around & make sure any pizza crusts or takeout cups from Saturday night aren't left lying in the hallway by the elevators. There is a gross greasy handprint on the door across from us for four days now. In the fitness room, housekeeping dragged the terrace trash through the whole room, leaving a trail of broken-bag trash slime, and when I pointed it out to her, she was like Oh, ok. She cleaned it up eventually but honestly, I've been in 4-star hotels and watched how they handle refuse and that wasn't it. It's fine, you'll find it an incredible step up from La Quinta.
Professionalism of the staff. Very comfortable room.
A very beautiful hotel I didn't like the price for parking. The dinner we had at the restaurant was delicious. Try the seafood pasta if you're not allergic.
Someone was playing music loudly and I'm not sure why it was going on in such a pricey hotel. The cost of parking.
It was clean & elegant.
The valet parking was expensive.
Location great..breakfast delicious
