Overview

In the heart of the historic city of Aurillac near the pedestrian quarter, the Best Western Grand Hotel De Bordeaux, Aurillac, France, is a hotel of real character, with comfortable, spacious, soundproofed rooms, air conditioning, room service, and a welcoming bar-salon. The redecorated rooms make a restful base in the middle of town, and the bar-salon offers an easy spot to unwind, with the congress centre close for those in Aurillac on business and the lively market squares of the old town just outside. The setting keeps the old streets and squares of the city right at hand. Aurillac is the capital of the green, volcanic Cantal, deep in the Auvergne, with the lava domes of the Monts du Cantal rising nearby for hiking and skiing and the perched medieval town of Salers, one of France's most beautiful villages, a short drive away. The volcanoes of the Cantal and the streets of Salers lie just beyond.
