Room dark and dirty. Need to refurbish.

It’s afew minutes walk away from Kings Shopping Center, I opened a restaurant called Wingman there on the 4th floor so it’s very convenient to just take the short walk. Compared to other hotels within a 2km radius of Kings, Golden Flower has a better breakfast buffet, a nice pool area to relax at night and the rooms are ok. Price is also reasonable.

The biggest problems are the rooms(and bathrooms). They need to be renovated, plugs don’t work, carpet is dirty, walls have marks, the bathroom is dark(tiles are very old fashion) and things are loose so careful with that shower glass door, it could fall at any moment. I like a good shower but problem is that the glass door doesn’t close properly so water sprays outside, then the shower floor is forever wet after you take a shower because the slope isn’t towards the drain. Even the drainage is slow. This time we stayed in rooms 520 and 521. The hotel has a 4 star rating because it has all the required things to make it a 4 star hotel but it’s more like a 2-3 star hotel. If they renovated all the rooms to a standard 4 star hotel like Sensa hotel, it would be a great place to stay.

I booked double room but I got twin room, doesn't really matter. But the AC. It feels like the AC was not working. I was sweating the whole night even though I already set the coldest temp. I like the room but it was a bit dusty here and there especially around the corners. The drainage in the shower not working until I step out and finish my shower then suddenly it worked. Location was actually not bad but the traffic........ I cannot handle it. It's even worse than jakarta.
