Continental breakfast and free parking
Overall appearance! Toilet ran all night, one night had to remove porcelain lid and readjust guts to stop the sound. Carpet was filthy! Curtain by bed covered up corner of baseboard that was broken. Other main curtain had a hook off. Broken edges on the stool outside bathroom. No coffee packages left one night for making a.m. coffee. 3 sizeable spots in bathtub had black spots from broken off porcelain. NOT worth the money we paid!! Beds comfortable enough, not great. Overall DIRTY, smell of ?faint mothballs, OVER priced. Building and room tired!
The room was very cold for the summer had to get a fan heater as heating didn’t work. Toilets don’t flush easy. No television. Had three guys come to fix it up.
The breakfast selections were okay.
The hotel was at the far end away from the main town of Banff. The hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Wear and tear, filthy carpeting. The building did not have secure entrances. Anybody could enter from any exterior door. The room had only a deadbolt without the extra security of a chain or bar on the door. The waste baskets were not emptied the three days we were there, glasses were replaced once. I could go on but what would be the point?
Hotel price was high
Boiled eggs every morning but one. No elevator. Very small cramped rooms, two beds in a room which you could barely walk around. Old facility needed an update badly.
