Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests frequently praised the hotel's convenient location, especially for travelers on Route 66, and found the value for money to be good. However, many reviews mentioned issues with cleanliness, including dirty rooms and linens, as well as unpleasant odors. Noise from air conditioning units and poor sound insulation were also common complaints. Some guests noted that room sizes were adequate, but not exceptional. Overall, while the location and price were highlights, cleanliness and noise levels detracted from the experience.

That said this place was one of the roughest I have ever encountered. I’ll sp...

Pros (+) The lady at the checkout counter was very kind. That is always appreciated. Thank you
Cons (-) Hands down the dirtiest establishment I’ve ever seen. I’m honestly a bit concerned with the cleanliness of the place as a whole. There was pubic hair on the sink the walls were stained with only god knows what everything from grease to bodily fluids I’m sure.... even the shower curtain looked as if it had never been cleaned or replaced and was probably more grime and dead skin cells than plastic.....

Pros (+) My stay at route 66 motel was very good. I was sadly, late in arriving, however, when I got there the room was ready. It had a feel of a different era. Everything was clean, and the person at the desk went over the remote control for the TV with me. It also a fridge and microwave in the room that was a nice extra for me. :-) I was also given a postcard when I checked in. I also really liked the pr...
Cons (-) The location was on the end of town where there wasn't much activity, which is not the hotel's fault. My only real negative was the bed was a tad on the soft side.
