Grabbed a reservation here to wrap up a week long camping trip in Death Valley, always been fascinated with Route 66 nostalgia so thought it would be neat. My standards are extremely low, I had been sleeping in abandoned miner cabins and the like after all for a week, and routinely stay at Motel 6 type hotels no problem. Cons (-) Hands down the dirtiest establishment I’ve ever seen. I’m honestly a bit concerned with the cleanliness of the place as a whole. There was pubic hair on the sink the walls were stained with only god knows what everything from grease to bodily fluids I’m sure.... even the shower curtain looked as if it had never been cleaned or replaced and was probably more grime and dead skin cells than plastic.....

Pros (+) My stay at route 66 motel was very good. I was sadly, late in arriving, however, when I got there the room was ready. It had a feel of a different era. Everything was clean, and the person at the desk went over the remote control for the TV with me.
