It was a very comfortable Stay though with really nice staff.
There was a slightly drain related smell when we stayed there! I think it might have been due to storm Dennis though.
Comfy beds. Excellent breakfast and bar meals. Good beer. Proper ground coffee in room for making a good cup.
I liked how close the hotel was to the train station, I could fall down outside the station and land in the lobby or the hotel. Breakfast came with the room and it was quite tasty, I would've liked more on my plate but I'm greedy with my food.
Because the hotel was right near the train station you heard all the noise of taxis and buses going up and down the street. It probably stopped around 11pm but I think I was already asleep by then and it started up again around 6am but I'd been awake for an hour when it began.
Well located in the centre of Bath, adjacent to the station and 10 mins from the Abbey and baths. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great! The staff were fabulous. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Having a central location meant it was noisy at night and we were woken at by traffic and shouting. Hotel decor old fashioned.
Breakfast was good. Bar and restaurant was good. Staff very friendly. Location good.
Shower not the hottest.
