Shower didn't work properly, room wasn't like in the photo. No drinking water in bedroom very dated and scruffy.
Convenient for the Bonfire Celebrations
My room on the top floor was a bit tired, skirting could be cleaner , could be a bit more modern eg. Fixtures and fittings bathroom needs modernisation but overall, for one night it was OK!
Bed was comfy
Doors wasn’t secure. The room was backdated and holes in the wall. Carpet was uneven and split. Very little power sockets. The door by reception wouldn’t lock, we was told it would as we was given a key to get in but didn’t need to use it as the door wouldn’t lock. It is a bit pricey for what it is.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's location is very convenient for all the local attractions.
The bathroom is not fit for purpose. The bathroom suite needs an upgrade and the shower should be replaced with an electric shower and a cubicle that can be used. The room was very stuffy, but if the window was opened the noise from the main road was too loud. Provide a chair for the desk, please.
It was in the location I needed it was what i needed at short notice
