Overview
The Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast is described as an ideal spot for those eager to enjoy some casino gaming, premium dining, and many opportunities to unwind in style and comfort. Less than three miles from excellent beaches along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi as well as the Old Town Bay St. Louis, it has almost 300 rooms and suites ideal for groups, couples, and families.
Though the hotel is a resort with a long list of amenities, activities, and services, its location encourages excursions outside of the beautiful grounds and premises. Pros (+) We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have always been pleased.
Cons (-) As we are on our way to the hotel, my husband has to be rushed to the hospital. We tried multiple times to get assistance to either transfer dates or cancel the reservation. The hotel told us they were unable to help us and gave us a number to call. After 30+ minutes on the phone going through numerous prompts, we were finally connected to a customer service representative. The CSR was very diffic...

Pros (+) easy check in, pool area and lazy river are nice, like the seniors buffet and close to old town Bay St Louiswhich is a great place to walk around and check out shops,resturantats and historic train depot .
Cons (-) tap water is not very good
Pros (+) The entire staff is friendly and eager to assist with all needs.
Cons (-) I was not too happy to find smoking allowed in pool and lazy river area. Cigarette buds were floating in the water as well as just thrown on the concrete near water.
