Helpfull staff, nice room, interesting location.
It's difficult to find the first time. Taxi drivers don't know how to get there.

The room was clean, the standard average but good in view of the price. Breakfast poor, internet connection often not working. Good hotel for people who like off the road stay
Apart from breakfast I can't really fault anything

Great location in the older part of Beijing. Interesting to walk around the Hutongs. Close to the Bell and Drum towers and not far from the Metro which is new and easy to use. Convienience store across the road. Lovely hot shower.
Looks dodgy on approach from all the construction in that area (like lots of the Hutongs) but once inside it was lovely. Pretty relaxed staff but helpful if needed. Floors not that clean and thongs in room had been used before. The Hotel had no signage we could see on approach and as far as I can tell is actually called King's House Hotel (the brochure I got at reception). On trying to find it a couple of locals said it had been demolished! Fortunately this wasnt the case!

Small yet cosy room, pretty courtyard, peaceful feel
a little noisy in morning with other guests talking in the courtyard directly outside room door but that is more down to the traditional layout of hutong courtyards. not a big problem.
