Pros (+) It was clean.
Cons (-) Duvet was tiny and thin, the shower head broke off and it drenched the entire bathroom, the safe in my room didn't open, two lamps didn't work. When I complained, they just looked with a blank expression on the face. On my return to the room later that night, only the shower head was fixed. No apology, no offer to make good. I'm never staying there again.

Pros (+) Comfy room, great view, perfect location next to the train. The service at the bar was great as well, fab drinks. The Molton Brown toiletries were a huge plus

Pros (+) The location is great, very clean, staff was great, and property was kept up. Hackescher Markt is a good area with shopping and restaurants, weekly markets Thursday nights and Saturday, and a S-Bahn stop to easily get anywhere in Berlin.
Cons (-) I had room facing the street and it was a bit noisy, try to get a room facing the courtyard. The "king" bed was two twins push together with a seam down the middle :(

Pros (+) I got a "Dom view" suite. It is large and had a terrific view of the Berlin main cathedral. large comfortable bathroom. The lounge downstairs has a fireplace that is Going every night. Great place to relax and have a whiskey. Breakfast in the restaurant is also excellent.
Cons (-) I've rented the regular rooms before and they are small. The suite is worth the extra cost. Beds have two small half comforters, one for each person. Would brew way better if it had a single large one. But that seems like something that is normal for German hotels.
