Pros (+) If it weren't for the location, view, and staff, I would have felt ripped off. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bodega Bay. Our room had a balcony with an ocean view. The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons (-) The rooms simply need to be updated. Everything in the room was either old and/or visibly dirty. The pillow cases were not clean. The ironing board was filthy. Dry rot visible in the bathroom. The sliding glass door needed lots of muscle and patience to open. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag? If it weren't for the location, view, and friendly staff, I'd be pissed paying $200/night...

Pros (+) Hair in the shower and dirty carpets. Hair dryer didn't work because it was clogged with hair. Staff never asked upon checkout how our stay was

Cons (-) Dirty rooms Rooms have torn carpet, stained sheets, wall paper falling off the wall. The balcony on the room had standing water, sliding door was hard to open and close. No screen door. Bathroom had water damage all over. Spiderwebs in the bathroom.
