La Pinta - Hostel

The staff are beyond unprofessional! After I booked my night at La Pinta I come to find out that after waiting nearly 40 minutes and the hostel workers not saying anything until I asked what’s going on, I come to find my room for the night is booked and they want to move me to their sister location. How rude that it took so long to tell me that when I just wanted to check in and get settled. They gave me a private room at the next location yet it was right downstairs where all the commotion is. During the course of the night I had to get up 6 times starting at 3am to tell the various HOSTEL STAFF, who were drunk and sober, to be quiet and stop literally talking so loud right beside my bedroom door as if they couldn’t speak at a lower volume or speak on the other side of the downstairs lobby area instead of right beside my bedroom, which already has thin walls. Each time I approached the staff, I was losing more patience, and after every time I asked, I was ignored and the disruption continued.
