The Kameha is an overall good hotel for business travelers, clean, fast, free internet access and spacious rooms. I have been coming here for a while and under a previous management service was a bit ostentatious. This has improved under the new management significantly and one feels honestly welcome now.
I don't care for the beds. The mattresses could be more comfortable and I wish they would offer down pillows instead of the ones with artificial filling. I also wish the Rhine River bar would open again as the hotel lags a welcoming place to have a drink at the end of a hard working day.
the design; staff were very helpful & the food was delicious.
The all red decoration in the corridors was too oppressive.
beautiful rooms and hotel design, helpful staff, great breakfast
parking is expensive - parking yourself is more than valet
well... the hotel itself is impresive from outside but the designers probably do not know the psychology.... e.g. red color corridors ... it is good for one day but after 3 days I was very depressed
What a stunning place !. We stayed here on the last night of a tour round Germany as a treat to ourselfs & what a treat. This has to be one of the best hotels anywhere. Ultra modern with the finest of decor, superb staff & facilities we were blown away by the whole experience. We were given a free upgrade which was unexpected & treated so well by the staff who advised us on every thing from city siteseeing, local restaraunts (they do have there own) to the best way to get around. It may not be the cheapest of hotels by a long way but you most certainly get what you pay for. If you want to spoil yourself (just the once) then see if you can get an offer on a stay at kameha grand, you wont be dissapionted !.
Parking should be free of charge considering what you pay for a room but it seems you pay everywhere in Germany for hotel parking.
