Location is good. Next to freeway.
Nothing special or unique about this hotel.
Food was very good. Beds great.
We had a frosted glass sliding door to our bathroom which was noisy if you need to use while others sleep. It was fine once I realized it is silent if you open and close it slowly. It does show translucent light still and prefer a solid door I can use in the middle of the night. Used my cellphone to light my use.
The staff was outstanding.
Construction across the street was noisy.
Cookies at check in were fantastic. Like that there was no carpet in the rooms. Outdoor chess and ping pong and the fire pits were nice.
The parking areas are separated by dark green poles. My daughter was running to the car at night and ran right into one. Ended up in the ER with a concussion. The parking area is not well lit and the bars should be white so you might be able to see them
The bed was very comfortable. Bar area and pool area nice for relaxing. Bathroom and shower very nice.
Asked desk clerk where our wine tour would pick us up. Stated she didn't know which was odd as the Marriott is on their pick-up route. Door to room was difficult to close-would stick as if the wood had swelled. Had a balcony but it looked over the valet area and being on the parking level it was not useable due to lack of privacy. Walls were paper thin. We were the first room off the lobby and it was extremely noisy. Coffee maker didn't work. Was disappointing considering the cost of the stay and Marriott's reputation.
