Room was big enough and spotless clean.
Beautiful original building, lovely bathroom, comfy bed, gorgeous linen
Slightly overpriced compared to comparable properties
The location was quiet and nice and the manor has the look and feel of an old colonial house. Outside and inside is decorated with African art objects confirming you at every corner that you are in Africa (a feeling which you are not experiencing everywhere in South Africa). The owner was nice and caring for the guests. The staff is ready to serve you and is trying to ensure your comfort and security. They are also ready (ex. Bob) to give you advice and guiding information for activities you can do in town and in the region, based on weather signs known only by local people. Among the three accommodation we had in S. Africa during this trip, this was the one we loved the most.
The breakfast was good and with variation from one day to another but, though we were in full summer, there were no greens. I suggest some salad, peppers, cucumbers.
The breakfast was super! Very friendly staff and the pancakes were the best ever! Its an old building we thought it was very cozy. Generally the staff was very friendly and we could park our car at the front of the B&B.
We had the misfortune that it was very windy, its an old wooden building so we heard everything all night. The double bed was not comfy very hard mattress. We didn’t like the neighborhood.
Breakfast was delicious , everyone was very kind , the place quite and beautifully , very confortable and very close to the waterfront and sea point .
