This great little hotel was an excellent stopping off point for us after touring in Tuscany and travelling down to Rome. Our hosts were very attentive and made us feel most welcome. They also recommended an excellent restaurant just down the street.
Furnishings were little dated but not a problem.
Location is excellant. Staff very helpful and kind. Good selection of tourist literature in several languages. Nice reception area. Great, nice and firm mattress.
We stayed in room 8 which was rented to us as a superior double. Although the bathroom was large, the bedroom itself was not large enough to swing a cat and had virtually no flat surfaces on which to put your stuff if you decided to unpack. No hooks in bathroom, television only received Italian broadcasts. Room was decently decorated but without the needs of travellers in mind. No lift might bother some. Breakfast acceptable but certainly nothing special.
The owner and his sister were very friendly and obliging and provided useful guidance about the area and in particular the recommendation to visit the wonderful Mona Lisa restaurant where the owner has a passion for his food and wine.
Roberto and his sister were lovely and looked after us very well. Roberto mentioned various local places for us to visit which we may otherwise have missed, so he really added to our holiday experience. We were on a motorbike, and were delighted they were able to provide us with secure parking just opposite the hotel.
The hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Location is perfect being right in the centre of the old town.
The parking is unusual, as you need a key from the hotel to enter the pedestrian zone to unload you luggage, but don't let it put you off.
The hospitality was very good. They were very helpful with taking luggage to the room, they also recommended places of interest to visit. They advised us where the good restaurants were.
Family run, extremely efficient service. Very helpful staff who were good english speakers.
Very friendly staff who speak good English. They could not do enough to help.
