Overview

At the foot of the Scenic City's mountains, Chattanooga, Tennessee, pairs riverfront culture with easy access to the outdoors, and the Best Western Royal Inn makes a convenient base off the interstate. Lookout Mountain, the Tennessee Aquarium, and downtown's riverfront all sit within easy reach, with Ruby Falls a short drive away. Cozy rooms set up an easy stay, and select rooms welcome pets so the whole family can come along. The location keeps the interstate, downtown, and the base of Lookout Mountain close at hand for sightseeing or a day on the trails. Around the city, the Head of the Hooch regatta, the Riverbend Music Festival, and abundant rock climbing, hiking, biking, and water sports fill the calendar, with Lake Winnepesaukah and Coolidge Park close by. Fall foliage along the ridges makes autumn a favorite time to visit. Ride the incline up Lookout Mountain, then settle into a comfortable base in Chattanooga.
