KAYAK
I booked a SUV, Volkswagen T-cross or similar. I was given a Volkswagen Golf, which is cheaper and one class lower on their website. A Golf is mot an SUV. I hit my head on their sign when picking up the car, didn't realize this at first. I wasn't offered a partial refund for the difference in price at my drop-off location. They told me this: A Volkswagen golf is a SUV, and the same class as a T-cross! Leaving an honest review and giving you as little stars as I can is the only thing I can do now. Shame on you.

The car was dirty outside and inside, drop off in Catania was weird, the Avis office was supposed to be open but there was no one there - we could still drop off the key but not really the kind of service to expect from a so-called tier I car rental company.

When I arrived at the airport they told me they did not have my car that I reserved. So then they said they will give me a larger vehicle for same price. Then they offered me full coverage insurance with 0 deductible. I told them I already purchased a policy when I booked the car.they told me my policy had a 3 thousand dollar deductible. After a 5 hour delayed flight and a line of people behind us I did not have time to go back and review the policy I bought. So I purchased there insurance after getting to my destination I reviewed the policy I bought from rentalcover.com and it did have a zero deductible so the rental agent lied to me
