Cons: Dirtiest rental car location I've ever been to. No vacuum in a long time as the dead bugs all over the floor suggest. Clearly no one there cares to make it look like a proper place of business.

Pros: The staff was awesome and helpful. It was like visiting with old friends. The staff did everything within their power to help me, they just didn't have any cars available.
Cons: I reserved the car but there were no cars. I was offered a Kia Soul and a total of $2 discount, that was so unfair since I reserved a mid size car. A customer returned a mid size car that was not clean but given my time restrains, they did clean the inside for me but the outside was very dirty.

Poor customer service
Pros: Car was a comfortable ride.
Cons: Guy at office was rude. He was judgemental. He allowed his personal opinions and views to reflect on his ability to provide a good customer experience. He was derogatory towards who I am married to. The office appears to be very homophobic. Rude demeaning comments. Overall horrible experience.

Pros: It was clean and a smooth drop off with no problems. The unlimited miles was great and it was a dependable car.
Cons: The vehicle was a 2017 Nissan Altima a mid size care not a full size that I wanted and payed for. The driver seat was very uncomfortable there is no way you can lower the end of the seat which made the back of my leg soar. There was not a whole lot of room. The first vehicle the manager brought to me was a Toyota Rav4 wasn't to bad but the outlets didn't work so he brought the Altima. I was running behind from having to come back and switch cars. They also don't state you haft to put $200 deposit down.

Cons: My car was not available for the 2nd week in a row. I had a reservation for a car weeks in advance. I went on my lunch break and they told me I'd have to wait 3-5 hours... How am I supposed to pay for the car if I can't go to work. The only thing the representative could "do for me" was put me in a luxury vehicle for an extra charge a day. Not my problem, guys. I should not have had to pay extra for that. Ridiculous. I just went to cancel my next trip with them due to change of plans for this weekend (it's 5 days away) and they want to charge me $50 cancellation fee. I'm sick of it. Not using Hertz again...

Cons: I rented a small car to accommodate 4 people. The rental place rented our car out before we got there and the only car available was a Camaro. Hertz did not want to do anything to help us because I explained there would be 4 people riding in the car. They could not do anything for me. The car was very uncomfortable for a 6-hour drive. It would be fine for a 20-year-old but for our age, not the best car.
Customer service is alive and well at Enterprise/National
Pros: The reps at the counter in Tyler, Tx. were courteous and extremely helpful. Their enlightening advice about the rental car business will forever be appreciated.

Pros: Price was very good for a holiday weekend. Compact car, but very roomy. Very happy with the car in every respect.
Cons: The young man who assisted us at pickup seemed brusque and unfriendly at first, but warmed up later. The young woman who helped us with our return was swamped with returns--there should have been someone to help her. (She did say her help had just quit that day.) She, herself, did great! She was cheerful and calm with all of us even though there were lots of people waiting to be helped and more came in as others left.

Cons: Kayak reserved an unlimited mileage on a Premium vehicle. We called ahead to find out Enterprise in Tyler doesn't even lease Premium level and not at the unlimited mileage anyway.
Enterprise has a business model to tell you what you want to hear and then you get there and they don't have what they tell. Happened to us and another customer while we were there.

It was like that one Seinfeld bit...
Pros: Technically, I did get a rental car, which is the essence of the service, I guess. It had wheels, went forward and back, etc.
Cons: -Rental car available almost 2 hours late, which caused a ripple effect of delays throughout the trip. If the pilots of our plane hadn't agreed to take some of the members of my party to their meetings, it would have been a disaster.
--I reserved an economy car, but was given a mini-van. I usually don't mind being given an upgrade for free, but this was a little drastic. The fuel costs twice as much and I have no experience parking such a boat.
-- It was dirty with questionably aired tires. We were running so late that we asked the agent to just give us the dirty car, but note that I would have preferred an on time and clean car.
-- We were at a somewhat separate part of the airport, where the rental cars were supposed to be when we arrived. They weren't AND we couldn't get anyone on the phone, over maybe like 5 tries.
-- The agent working probably was doing his best, but he was understaffed and simply didn't have cars available to give us. Basically no resources to help us. Having this service work is crucial in a town that doesn't have a bunch of transit and taxi options.
