Location - walking distance to most attractions. Staffs are friendly
Toilet a bit small but still can manage
Nice owner of hostel with great service, it is clean for the room and bathroom, quiet enough for a quality sleep. The experience for travel detail around Chiang Mai shared by owner's blog which is useful. And the location easy to find. I will book it again if I go Chiang Mai one more time.
It was a great stay- probably one of our favorites in Thailand. The owners were very friendly and nice and were very helpful. They have two cute little dogs that were so fun to play with. They also operate a tour program in the lobby, so theres also that option to look into! The cafe across the street was also lovely, and there is a bank across the street as well to exchange money. Breakfast was some toast and coffee/tea. Located next to some good restaurants and massage parlors. We loved our stay! It was also very quiet throughout the day and at night as the back of the hostel is shared with a residential/hotel neighborhood.
Nothing to dislike.
Very nice staff Good place to be
The wifi its ok, can be better
The owners were friendly and let us check in early as they had no one in the room. Good location to explore old town. The room was spacious, bed was a typical Thai hard bed but we're used to that. The shared bathrooms were ok and since it wasn't that busy, not a problem to get in when you needed to. The first day the shared space on our floor smelt like vomit from another guest partying too hard, but when mentioned to staff the next day, they cleaned it up. They included us in Songkran events and such which was nice. They held our luggage and let us hang around till our night bus. Would stay again if breakfast was included as promised.
We were quite disappointed that they didn't warn us that over Songkran they wouldn't be doing breakfast (despite it being in our booking, included in the *higher* pricing than we would've paid somewhere else without breakfast). We were told on arrival and weren't offered any discount for the lack of breakfast. When we bought it up with the owner, he quickly gave us 100b and closed the conversation. Whilst this is a solution, it is one we didn't find adequate as 100b barely covers 1 person's breakfast in a cafe, let alone 2 people for 3 days, but wishing to avoid further confrontation, we accepted it. It was a pain the go look for breakfast every day, especially with so many cafes/businesses closed for Songkran. If we had known this in advance, we would've cancelled and booked elsewhere.
