Pros: I really loved this accomodation, clean room, nice terrace, a cold bottle of prosecco to welcome us, which we finished in the nice whirlpool. The people are so friendly. Overall, super nice!! Defenetly recommended!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Parking, good base to explore Cinque Terre, nice terrace outside the room, some of the staff were friendly.
Cons: room was basic, some staff were not very fiendly, problem with Mosquitoes. Toilet brush was caked in poo which they changed immediatly but it does ask the question how well was the room cleaned before we arrived.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel and the staff were nothing short of amazing!! From the time we arrived until we left we felt so comfortable and really enjoyed the stay. I accidentally dropped a wine bottle on my foot while try to pack it as a gift to get it home safely. The staff was amazing, they came quickly and also called a taxi as I ended up needing to go to the hospital. They reassured me we would be in good hands, and continued to check in on me after we arrived back later that evening. should we return to Italy again we would stay here again!!

Pros: Great staff, great room and amazing view. Very privileged location, with free mini-bar and a 24h jacuzzi. Awesome breakfast, and the whole staff were really outstanding. Incredible place to spend two nights or two months.

7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent check in process - Davide and Ivana very friendly. View from room and terrace amazing. Good space in room with great facilities - fridge, sink, hotplates, microwave and washing machine. Nice modern ensuite with decent water pressure, shower enclosure a little on the small side. Also reasonably large private patio area in Unit 12. Breakfast is fantastic with a good selection - great coffee, delicious regional spinach slice. Complimentary water and soft drinks in minibar renewed daily. Overall good place to stay but would be reluctant to return, based only on the bed being so hard.
Cons: Bed was very hard and pillows not comfortable, made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really beautiful hotel with amazing views.
Cons: The breakfast was not amazing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owners are very kind and helpful, breakfast was nearly excellent, really nice bathroom, beautiful place with lovely outdoor sitting area that was very comfortable and impressive view. Best value I could find in cinque terre
Cons: though i'm nearly 60 I'm in good health so i actually enjoyed the walk up the hill and the steps. i would caution anyone who is not fit but you can get a ride up and down.

Pros: Quite, comfortable and cozy with a view of the hills and the sea. Friendly and attentive staff. Steep climb from the train station so be ready for some exercise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all extremely attentive and made sure our stay was wonderful. The hotel is in a perfect location overlooking the town with a direct view of the ocean. Our room was cozy but had a magnificent balcony and the window over the bed overlooking the sea. Simply beautiful! Evening happy hour on the hotel terrace was great with free appetizers and drinks. There is also a perfect morning breakfast where they will provide you with eggs as you like and greet with a hot cappuccino. We had the best time and La Toretta was a main reason. We will definitely be back!
Cons: The bed was a bit hard but otherwise everything was perfect!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, service and breakfast were terrific
Cons: It was a little expensive for a one night stay
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was great within the old town. Staff was wonderful. Very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Decent variety. Eggs were available in addition to the standard fare of breads, meats, fruits and yogurt, etc. great cappuccinos! (Capuccini)
Cons: Mattress on the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it just needs an extra pad for comfort. There was a bit of building noise but nothing that kept us awake.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, great location.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic hotel. Quaint, clean, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast with beautiful outside seating. Very personable, accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
Cons: Sketchy wifi but I’m assuming they can’t do anything about that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location! We did appreciate the help with booking trail passes (at reduced price) and the bottles of water!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful Hosts at Locanda Il Maestrale - Giovanni & Stefania were friendly and responsive. Loved staying in ‘Old Town’! Easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Perfect location for exploring Cinque Terre & the Riviera Towns. Close to the beaches - 5 min walk. (Hosts provided a beach bag with beach towels). Lots of restaurants and shops right outside your door. Stayed in the Manarola room. Very clean with comfortable king size bed. Great shower with lots of hot water and excellent water pressure. Fridge stocked with water - no charge (tap water is drinkable in Italy but nice to have the bottles for day trips). Juice/beer also stocked in fridge with prices as per menu. Daily maid service included clean towels as needed. (Thanks Connie)! Fabulous rooftop terrace where we had breakfast every morning (with fresh squeezed orange juice)! Stefania & Giovanni also put out complimentary daily afternoon fruit, snacks & coffee/tea. We had access to the roof top terrace at any time and enjoyed our evenings up there with a bottle of wine. Giovanni helped us get the Cinque Terre train & trekking pass ($16 euro per person for one day) for unlimited train rides & trekking. The cars also gets you free access to the toilets at the train stations. We did the hike from Monterosso Al Mar to Vernazza. Spectacular views during this 1 hr 15 min walk. We did this on a Saturday, it was busy on the trails and insanely busy on the trains. Recommend getting an early start to avoid the crush of tourists. Loved visiting all the towns of Cinque Terre. Corniglia is up higher from the ocean. The weather was very hot so we took the free shuttle immediately after you get off the train (or alternatively you can take the steep 25 minute walk up to the town). We did a beautiful late afternoon sunset hike to the top of the hill in Monterosso and saw the church of San Francesco. Castle ruins and a cemetery. The views were incredible.

Pros: set in a 300 year old building with modern life amenities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in a prime location on Via Roma in the old Monterosso al Mare, it’s is close to all the good restaurants, beaches and just a 10 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are beautifully designed with comfy bed, large wardrobe, beach towels some olive oil shampoo and a larger then expected bathroom. Rooms are also cleaned every morning. Communication with the host was great and on meeting him he was full of chat with great advice and couldn’t do enough for us. Will stay here again when I return to Cinque Terre as we enjoyed our stay and had no issues.
Cons: Not to much not to like, just travel light as there is no lift and also you need to keep your eyes open or you will walk by the main door.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bellambra was in a terrific location, close to restaurants, shopping and trailhead in the old town- the more picturesque of the two sides of Monterosso. The rooms were clean and had daily maid service. Fresh towels were provided everyday. WiFi was good. Enoteca downstairs made perfect cappuccinos and had a wonderful selection of local wines and Italian micro brews. The host was exceptionally hospitable to our family and very informative about local attractions and getting around town.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary drinks on the first day was a nice touch.
Cons: The location is close to the main walkway of the town which made it a little noisy. I wore earplugs to drown out the noise and had no issues.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location!
Cons: Small bathroom in double room! No place in shower for shower gel, etc. Sat on floor. Tiny sink top for toiletries. Other rooms had spacious bathrooms.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodations and short distance to waterfront was a dream. Lorenzo is a wonderful kind host. We stayed on the 3rd level with 4 rooms and entire floor to our party of 6 adults and 4 children. It was the perfect way to enjoy Monterosso & Cinqueterre! We'll certainly be back to stay again!
Cons: Not a thing!
Scorci Di Mare - Riomaggiore - Building
5
9.3 Excellent (997 reviews)
C$ 198+
Overview Reviews
Located in Riomaggiore, Scorci Di Mare is in a national park, within a 5-minute walk of Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area and Fossola Beach. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Paolo was superb. Very warm and welcoming. He went out of his way to help us during our trip. The room is an excellent location, overlooking the marina in the heart of Riomaggiore. We would highly recommend staying here.
Cons: Parking is not free (20Euros)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Right near the boat lift. Although walking anywhere required a good uphill hike (and downhill back), it was well worth it to be able to have a nice view of the small harbor and sleeping with the windows open to get a gentle breeze and hear the waves gently lapping on the shore. Some welcome snacks and cold water were a nice touch.
Cons: Bathroom a little tight (maybe set the footstool outside if you don’t need it) and had a bit of a musty smell (possibly from plumbing?), but it seemed clean and was functional and its door kept any odor isolated from the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect! The view was incredible. Waking up in Riomaggiore right next to the ocean was just what I imagined when I saw pictures of the town. Paolo was an incredible host; from showing us to the room to telling us all kinds of stories and fun facts about the village. Also he gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to visit during our stay. Highly recommended!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sea view and excellent location. Clean apartment and great help with the booking and information about the area, a great value for the accommodation.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located room, reasonably equipped including air conditioning. Our room was located near the slipway at the bottom of a very steep hill. Very friendly helpful staff met us at the top of the hill on arrival.
Cons: Room was a little small and awkwardly located. Not really accessible to the unfit traveller. There are a lot of steps and passages to negotiate. We had to park away from the room at the top of the hill and lugging our luggage back up the hill in 35 degree heat was not pleasant. I was able to rent a garage for the night for our motorcycle at an extra cost which was within a multi storey car park. There is no breakfast option, which makes the room cost look expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of this accommodation is perfect in the harbour. I stayed in the Terraza room which had two terraces. The view from the first terrace is just wonderful and you can have breakfast there. There is a staircase up to the bedroom and another terrace up there. The views were even better than the pictures. The owner will pick you up at the train station and assist with your bags. It is better to travel light as Riomaggiore has lots of steps/vertical hills to negotiate. Lots of information on the area/walks/trains. I had a great stay thanks!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views and location. Ringside at Riomaggiore. Lovely two level apartment on the top of the building. Morning sun and afternoon shade. Perfect for relaxing. Helpful host, Paolo.
Cons: You need to be able to manage stairs at Scorci Di Mare but that applies to most of Cinque Terre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, easy to get to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, the owner is very friendly. Big room and nice shower.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Paolo is kind and nice. He answered all my messages before staying in Scorci Di Mare. When we arrived to Riomaggiore, he welcomed us in the train station. Briefly introduced the village on the way to our room. The room had amazing view. We had the most stunning harbour view in Riomaggiore from the window. The room was clean, tidy and spacious.
Cons: Since Riomaggiore is a village on the hill, it was relatively difficult to carry large luggage from station to our room. Yet, Paolo kindly help us carrying all the way.

Pros: Very good location for visiting Cinque Terre, the lady at the reception was absolutely great in treating her guest. Peaceful location, very close to the bus station to Manarola,
Cons: The price could be around 100 Euro.

Pros: Everything was excellent! We had a triple and a double room for 2 adults and 3 kids. We enjoyed the beautiful hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning worked very well. The bus down to Manarola was very nearby and convenient, and parking for our huge car was available (which is very hard in Cinque Terre).

Pros: Beautiful view, extremely clean and beautifully decorated room. Very clean and a super comfy bed. Zeta and Simeon are wonderful hosts.
Cons: We didn’t realise that the accommodation was 6km out of Vernazza up in the mountains. Beautiful location but we were totally reliant on the local bus that only ran at certain times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful mountain location is easily accessed by fun, clean local bus. Rooms were great and several outdoor sitting areas overlook stunning views. The morning of my departure the bus was cancelled due to rain and Nima immediately found solutions. Drove me down to town and all around great!

Pros: Central location, lovely and clean, but it was breakfast with Beppe that made it special. Real Italy.
Cons: Right next to church bells, but worth that inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly host! Very accommodating. Very central and lovely place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is very good, if you do not want to climb the long stairs, you can take the shuttle bus at the entrance of the train station. The landlord is very warm and cute, but his English is not very good. The room was very clean, the bathroom was newly renovated, and the jam for breakfast was delicious.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super endearing and cute grandpa running it called Beppe. Provided nice free breakfasts and was very clean. Beppe couldn’t speak much English but that was part of the charm because he is so enthusiastic.
Cons: Have to climb up quite a few steps to reach so might be tough for heavy packers. This is more an issue with living in Corniglia rather than the property itself though.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities, sparkling clean room and Beppe was charming even though we did not really understand each other! He made our stay perfect.
Cons: Mattress was a little uncomfortable but was ok for what we paid as the rest of the BnB was absolutely spot on.

Pros: Amazing host and location in Cornigilia! The host Beppe is the kindest and friendliest ever! Served us an amazing breakfast in the comfort of his own home.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely helpful, clean room. Balcony was nice
Cons: Be prepared it's at top of hill but if you can get by that, you're all good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff ready to help, excellent breakfast!
Cons: Slow wifi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Place in the beautiful Manarola. We have two suites (familial de luxe and the familial with balcony). The suites are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are beautiful: modern and well equipped. The staff is helpful, courteous and nice. The breakfast is delicious with a lot of varieties: homemade cakes, eggs, fruits, cheeses, ham and delicious coffee. The views from the terrasse for breakfast and from our balcony are breathtaking. Well situated for us : just far enough from the hustle, but walking distance from the restaurants and the beach. PS: The 15 minute walk uphill from the train station doesn’t bother us. But pack light if you have trouble walking, because it could be difficult under the sun with all the luggages. But it’s worth the effort!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast exceeded our expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and offered to make us fresh eggs and cappuccinos every morning!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Such a beautiful and quaint bed and breakfast. The breakfast each morning was a delight! The two-room setup worked great for our family of four. And, the big shower was a bonus after a long day at the beach and on the trail. Also, eating at Da Billy as we watched the sun go down was a real treat. Highly recommend the entire experience!
Cons: It wasn't a problem for us but if you are a traveler with mobility issues, this is NOT the place for you! (the cinque terre in general probably isn't the best place for someone with mobility issues.) Our place was up a steep but short flight of stairs. Not an easy walk up or down to it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Situated right in the heart of manarola with great views of the ocean. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast included.
Cons: Pricey for the size of the room.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The apart was clean
Cons: We expected bit more out of the appart flat we stayed in compared to the pictures shown in the site but ended up in more old fashioned flat but still clean and functionable. The front door blind did not work and there is a motion sensor exterior light which mean each time someone walked in the street the light would light up the (living)room we slept in which was a bit uncomfortable. This would be easily fixed by the owner but we stayed only 1 night so put up with it. The location is quite far up the village so expect a hard climb. We stayed with our parents who are 60 and the climb proved difficult for them despite being fit. Would not advise it for family with young children. Neighbours were quite noisy even late at night but we guess this can not really be input to the property.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was lovelly, apartment clean and I really nice balcony view,
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped, good air conditioning and wifi. Lovely breakfasts and a great location.

Pros: Fantastic host in Enrico. Gave us plenty of local knowledge. Jasmine plant outside the room gave a great smell when sitting on the terrace.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Riomaggiore our favourite of the 5 lands
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was very helpful to us in planning our hiking through Cinque Terre! He’s the best!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Enrico went out of his way to offer us a ride from La Spezia to the hotel in Riomaggiore. Breakfast has a great spread. Warm fluffy croissants were yummy!
Cons: It’s quite a trek up to the hotel from the train station when you have luggage. It’s a good workout though...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Enrico was great. He truly treats guests as celebrity. Location is nice too.
Cons: Using Google maps to try to get directions to the hotel. Do not use Google maps. Request directions from Enrico/staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enrico the owner was fantastically helpful with advice about what we wanted to do, meal recommendations, transport advice etc. Best we experienced on our trip. Breakfast was great and the bonus of very reasonably priced cold drinks in our room fridge during the heatwave was appreciated! Great to have onsite parking and deck with umbrella and chairs plus peep of sea really nice. Highly recommend!

Pros: Location was amazing in the old town and Annie who looked after us was fabulous. Breakfast was fantastic and even brought to our room one day it was raining. Live to visit again one day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The girl that cooked our breakfast and managed it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Annie and Cherry were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was ready for our arrival, including an extra bed for a third person being made up. The breakfast provided was simple but delicious. Freshly cooked eggs and espresso being available made it particularly great. The room was cozy but well-equipped. The bathroom was clean and modern, with fresh towels and linen on our arrival. Annie and Cherry were quick to reply to messages, and happy to help if we had any concerns (which we didn't!). Accommodation in Monterosso is not cheap, but we would happily stay here again!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Annie was amazing. Wonderful hospitality. Great breakfast, location perfect. We had to leave early on last morning so she provided breakfast for us in our apartment. Even gave us beach towels! Highly recommend! 5 star hospitality.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great position, staff great. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh omelettes.
Cons: Just because our kids are tall beds were a bit small.

Pros: Excellent location and service. Highly recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The service for this place was outstanding! Upon arriving, they gave our group of 4 welcome drinks (along with an extra bottle to take back to the room), and let us sample some incredible pesto. They recommended places to eat for dinner, and overall we really enjoyed their hospitality. The breakfast was great as well, included fruit and yogourt, which most places do not. Our room for 4 could have slept an additional person plus had a baby cot included.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cherry was amazing. She accommodated to all of our needs. We were 4 girls backpacking Italy on a budget, but our stay felt like a real treat! The room was amazing, and the included breakfast was probably the best we've ever had. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone who tells me they're traveling to Cinque Terre!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay here - a girls trip from London for the weekend to walk the Cinque Terre. Our hostess Cherry was brilliant - made our trip!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place and is rented by a wonderful couple that are very helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are wonderful, very accommodating. We had booked a four person room and showed up w/ 5 and didn't get charged any more. When I asked where to buy tea, she took me to a shop and bought it for me to place in the room. Best breakfast w/ meat, cheese, bread, jam, coffee, and pastries. Cute room, spaciously comfortable, t.v., loved the shower head, tea kettle in room and table!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern and well equipped apartment at the heart of Riomaggiore. Large balcony with nice views over the main street. Owner was super helpful and everything from check-in to parking worked like a charm. Location is great for exploring Cinque Terre as the train station is 5 mins away.
Cons: The sofa bed could have been more comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic right in the central main steet of Riogammore. It was a lovely unit with gr8 decor.
Cons: The bed was hard and the pillows flat.also the toilet kept running everytime it was flushed and it had to be hit to stop it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The manager was particularly helpful and kind, helping us out with luggage and storing them whenever necessary! The room was perfectly located, right along the central street and only 2 minutes from the station.
Cons: Lots of stairs to carry luggage up though the owner helped us.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, small but well equipped with the basic amenities
Cons: Try to limit the amount and size of the luggage you bring inside with you. The staircase after the walk in the pedestrian Main Street is a bit cumbersome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very central and Andrea was incredibly helpful and gave us heaps of incredible tips!
Cons: Lots of stairs but that is to be expected in that cute little town! There was a bar below so I'd suggest bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The bed would benefit from a thicker mattress cover just to soften it a little, but it's a nice size bed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and in a nice location. The communication with the owner was superb. He is overall nice, respectful, and professional. He provided us with everything we needed.
Cons: The check-in/out times are not as flexible compared to big hotels, which is normal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host was very nice and gave lot of advices on what to visit and the good restaurants in the town. There were also free coffee and tea in the room even if they never mentioned it. The room was clean. The location of the room was perfect. Even though there was some noise in the street during the night, once we closed the window, we didn't hear anything
Cons: The double bed means two single bed together and one of the mattress was a bit bumpy. The sliding door of the toilet was not closing completely.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, helpful host. Fab location.
Cons: could hear hotel guests in next room. There was a small balcony but we couldn’t use it as the air con machine took up half of it and expelled hot air
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and the room is beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was ideal, the apartment was roomy and clean . Unbelievable view right outside of the door and window . Staff was friendly and readily available.

7.5 Good
Pros: Room was nice, spacious and clean. The bathroom was also big and clean. Friendly host and satisfactory breakfast.
Cons: We paid £150 per night which was a bit pricey so we expected a lot more. Nothing really stood out. The double bed was basically 2 single beds pushed together and wasn’t the most comfortable of beds. The TV was also very tiny. Overall the stay was perfectly fine but we didn’t feel it was good value. Additionally the staff were inflexible with a late checkout (checkout is 10 AM). They also have no capacity to hold luggage for the day (we were in Riomaggiore till about 7 pm that day so we wanted a place to leave our belongings) but the host said he could not accommodate us as he was only on-site till 2PM every day. There was also not enough staff (only one person at the desk and he wasn’t always there even before 2PM).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and place !! Don't be afraid of the high and "climbing" roads ;)
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Our room was lovely, and so was the area. The service was great & very helpful.
Cons: We were asked to phone when we arrived but only had Canadian phones. Then we had to lug our luggage up flights of stairs. (The town is on a cliff, so everything is up or down, so that isn’t really a fault.). I wasn’t that happy about the extra cost of E15 parking & E10 for the continental breakfast which i thought very expensive).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view! Perfect room! Perfect balcony!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved our terrace with its view. If you stay here get the room with its large terrace at the top of the property. Jacopo was the friendliest guy we’ve come across in our Italy travels. He was a pleasure to talk to and gave advice freely. Breakfast was simple but adequate, even had a couple of fruit pies. Coffee was good and strong!
Cons: Room was very small (so glad we had the terrace room!).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was charming, up the hill from the main noise of the town. Loved the village too. The staff were excellent and really helpful with information. Had a great time! Thanks heaps. Would definitely recommend and return:)
Cons: Nothing really. It’s a bit of an uphill walk with bags from the train but we knew that so no big deal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luca was great, he made us feel really welcomed. The much needed parking place was also perfect. Everything was exactly as advertised. The room was really comfortable and the terrace was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location just away from the tourist crowd of Riomaggiore, though extremely central to the village. The hosts were are very helpful and made our stay excellent. Would definitely recommend.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious unit with big outdoor patio. Some ocean views
Cons: A long hard walk uphill, however this was away from the crowds and noise which was nice
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This place is located right on the main street (Via Columbo). It had a lovely patio. Having AC was a great plus (given that the temps were in the 90s F). It was clean and the staff was helpful.
Cons: The location is WAY up the main street (involving a lot of steps up a steep incline). It's a great location if you drove into Cinque Terre.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a great place and enjoyed the breakfast
Cons: Internet doesn’t work well

Pros: The location was excellent. Good value for money. There is no parking in Cinque Terre in general but the hotel in not far from the big parking lot beside the sea and hotel provides luggage transfer for customers.
Cons: There is no parking in Cinque terre but the hotel could have provide transter from parking lot. There was luggage transfer but were not notified of it even when we called to hotel in advance.

Pros: Amazing room and location
Cons: Shower was terrible but that’s expected in these locations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always love going back to this hotel. It's adorable and comfortable with very friendly service. Their lemon garden is my favorite and their breakfasts can't be beat.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super helpful. The hotel was well located close to the beach, town and restaurants. Hotel breakfast was tasty.
Cons: Bathroom was very very small, it was tight even for a very small girl so it could be too small for other guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room had character in line with old town. Buffet breakfast in lemon garden outstanding. Good selections. . Location great. Staff lovely and very helpful. Laundry available at cost. Provided baggage cart to train station. Should have asked for this service on arrival.
Cons: Info on baggage service from train station before arrival.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance from the train station and the breakfast was unbelievable.
Cons: Earlier breakfast time for people leaving to catch a train.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff at hotel Marina were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived early and they arranged for us to check in before the set time. On check out they gave us a snack, small gift and even offered us to use the shower later in the day after walking.
Cons: We were just disappointed that some of the facilities were not in good condition. The towels and linen were washed but damp and not very fresh. Also the electric sockets didn’t work so we couldn’t use the fridge and had to take the kettle to the bathroom. There was a lot of choice at breakfast and again the staff were lovely but quality of the products was poor for the money that we paid. We paid 145 pounds for one night and understand that it was peak season but feel that this was expensive for the quality of what we received.

Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel met my expectations from previous reviews I had read before booking. Location is very convenient, approx 100 metres from main square, close to eateries but in a quiet area. The breakfasts were good with a lot of home cooked cakes, jams etc. The coffee lady provided much entertainment by the designs she created on the cappuccinos. The reception staff were very helpful. Had a nice balcony. Would recommend.
Cons: The bed in our room was a bit too hard for my liking, but was ok.

From here you can reach Vernazza and the other villages of the Cinque Terre on the local train line. Parking is free at the Adriana Hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast view to the mountains and the sea at the balcony water refill clean bathroom the cat
Cons: Plastic cups in the room
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was wonderful. Right near the beach of Fegina and just a few minutes stroll into the town of Monterosso and to the main beaches. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, everything you could wish for and more. Friendly and very helpful personnel. They got us a tea after 11 pm even though the bar was closed. Also very helpful giving directions and recommending the best way to travel. Clean and free tap water fountain to fill water bottles.
Cons: The swimming pool was small and only open till 8 pm, so we opted for the sea. The croissants at breakfast could have been better. The room was basic and a bit old-fashioned, but fully functional with all the necessities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was air conditioned and pool was wonderful. Wifi was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. It felt private, but close to the train. The breakfast was wonderful every morning, and the view from the patio was lovely. Free parking, although driving in was a little bit scary because of the narrow, winding roads. Would recommend!
Cons: N/a
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nice, peaceful and clean, has a swimming pool and a garden. The breakfast was very good. It is quite close to the sea. The ladies at the reception are all very friendly and warm-welcoming. And they have very nice doggies helping them ;)
Cons: We lived in a quadruple room. And I would not recommend this type of allocation. It is located in the mansard, has no balcony or living room. And one bathroom for four persons is not enough.
7.5 Good
Pros: In the new town close to the ocean, and beach.. Very clean quiet room with a large bed and balcony. Nice garden and pool. Ample breakfast. Most of staff friendly. Our balcony had a partial sea view between buildings. Many rooms don’t. Had a safe in the room and the gate was locked at night, so seemed secure.
Cons: Considering we are paying 200 euros per night there were some little things lacking. Very flimsy plastic glasses in the room, virtually no decor, and no hair conditioner. Tiny bathroom. Linoleum floors in hallway and bedroom. Night receptionist never looked up as we walked by. Also the breakfast was the same every day the only variation being a couple of baked goods. Daytime staff very pleasant and were the other evening staff. It’s a bit of a haul up a steep pebbly driveway pulling luggage to the hotel. Pool temp was cold and there were lots of annoying flies around. And beach towels have to be rented??!! The beach is rocky and a lot of it is private tho there’s a free section not far from hotel. Also there are jellyfish which inflict the most painful sting I’ve ever had. The receptionist readily provided ointment which I did not find helped.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. The pool area was very peaceful
Cons: My bedroom was tiny. My bed was not very comfortable and neither were my pillows. The dining room lacked atmosphere so I didn’t eat there in the evenings. But the staff were very nice
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find not far from the train station. Check in was swift and we were given a big spacious room. While the decor is quite outdated, that is normal in the cinque terre, it was absolutely spotless and cleaned daily. There was good English TV channels, good wifi and a pool on the complex. Breakfast was also very nice. It is a small family run hotel with only 36 bedrooms or so and it is very peaceful. Free parking also but we didnt avail of it. Very near all the lovely restaurants also.
Cons: the bikes available free of charge weren't great. The handle bars were sticky from the rubber having peeled off as the bikes were showing their age and the bikes locks are quite tricky. These need replacing. Breakfast is finished by 10am which is quite early.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the staff, so helpful, especially the reception and the lady at the bar at night who gave me hot water each night. The breakfast was excellent. Would definitely rate it 4star.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind, attentive, and highly professional staff, great suggestions (beach rental outfit and hillside cafe in Manarola), beautiful grounds with large pool and deck, complete breakfast with nice variety, single room with balcony just as in photos and loved it, very reasonable and delicious optional 4 course dinner, which I loved as well, since I found the old town area noisy and crowded, and location in newtown area is closer to train station.
Cons: Choosing between the pool and the sea and having to leaving!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and a very tasty breakfast and dinner. We would certainly recommend this property for anyone visiting Cinque Terre.
Cons: Coffee machine in dining area served poor quality and tasting coffee. A fair amount of uphill trekking to get to the lobby and then your room; not suitable for disabled.

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Breathtaking view from balcony.
Cons: Reading light at the balcony.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was excellent, we loved having the ability to park and take the shuttle down to the town! Room very clean! Breakfast appealed to different nationalities and the view is amazing!
6.7 Good
Pros: It was a nice clean property with small rooms. The breakfast was very good. beautiful views from the property.
Cons: The distance from town up a steep hill made it a little inconvenient.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view from the room.
Cons: The breakfast variety shall be improved, as well as comfort of the beds.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of Cinque Terre
Cons: Our room was in back so we didn’t get a balcony or good view. Shuttles ran every hour and should be every half hour since you need the shuttle to get to town (walking is not an option since the hotel is very far from town and very high up)
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was very good, quiet and the idea of the shuttle every hour to the city center was pretty good
Cons: the coffee at breakfast didn't meet our expectation
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, very clean room looking better than in the photos.
Cons: Breakfast was average but very good coffee (italian esspresso). The fact that we were remote and dependent on the shuttle bus (which was every hour).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is probably the best location in Monterosso with stunning views from the balcony especially early morning and during the night time, when you can see all the Cinque Terre villages. The hotel interior is very nice as well. Shuttle bus service to/from hotel/village was perfectly organized and free of charge.
Cons: Can not recall anything that we did not like.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, great location, clean rooms, shuttle service and friendly staff.
Cons: Hotel does not have a restaurant, just a bar with drinks and snacks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff super helpful. Amazing views. Shuttle service is awesome; we were running late on our train so we called the hotel to see if the driver could wait an extra 10 mins in town, and he did.

Pros: I stayed only one night, but the owner made it very enjoyable and was incredible nice and even gave me a ride to the train station. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice. Good, but limited, breakfast. Would recommend!
Cons: It kind of in tye middle of nowhere, being ~40 minutes outside of Riomaggiore, which was a big downside for me. If you have a car and are looking for a quite place outside of Cinque Terre, this place would be great.

Pros: Raphaëlla was very nice and helpful. She gave us a lot of tips to visit cinque terre.

Overview Reviews
Located in the centre of Corniglia, just a few steps from the sea, Affittacamere La Torre offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. The sun terrace has views over the Ligurian Sea. The historic city of Corniglia is in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Corniglia Train Station is just a 10-minute walk from La Torre residence. La Torre Affittacamere’s spacious rooms are decorated in a bright Mediterranean style and are equipped with a TV and private bathroom. From the balcony you will have views of the sea or the town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was well shaded, which suited us given the heat at the time of our stay. The roof terrace was warm and had a better view of Corniglia and the surrounding area than any of the public view point.
Cons: Room was quite simple but comfortable. Most sockets only worked woth 3 prong Italian plugs and not 2 prong European plug
6.3 Good
Pros: Just on top of the main square with best view in town.
Cons: Tiny room, bumped my head several times into low hanging tv and low ceiling. Cleaning and lots of noise in the morning (starting 8am) so no way to sleep in during your holidays. There was rather bad smell from the bathroom and coming into the room as only sliding door in between and not well isolating. Fridge not working well and making lots of noise (had to switch it off during the night).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this venue. Our room was tastefully decorated and in keeping with the location. The pears and sweets on the bed on arrival were a welcome touch. We used the roof terrace every night to absorb the sights and sounds of one of the more popular Cinque Terre’s and we were grateful of the air conditioning unit installed which made such a difference to the comfort of our stay. The owner was at the end of the phone to advise or assist. Our room had a kettle and a fridge and there was plenty of complimentary coffee, tea etc on hand. There are plenty of bars and cafes for breakfast but we used the local stores and enjoyed the roof terrace. You must find time to swim in the marina!
Cons: Access to the venue may not suit everyone ie you cannot pull up at the front door in a taxi but that is the same for other venues if you are planning to stop over in Corniglia.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good room in a great location at the top of a cliffside village. Roof garden.
Cons: Nil
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views from my room were stunning and the roof terrace is pure joy. A glass of wine and some nibbles at sunset. Marvellous.
Cons: Lack of power points for charging up tech devices (always an issue in old buildings)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was so enjoyable. Corniglia and the unit was a great place for hiking and looking around the other towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and perfect location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good - Beautiful terrace, nice location in heart of old town
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, views were amazing and the patio upstairs and in the room were perfect. There were a few restaurants right down the steps from the room and they were delicious. The room had AC so it was amazing coming in from the heat throughout the day. Giacomo, our host, was super helpful and sent step by step directions in order to find the hotel.
Cons: If I HAD to list something that I didn't like, I would say the shower curtain was too long and bunched up near the drain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked 5 nights in a double room with balcony which had great sea views. Giocomo sent detailed instructions with photos via ‘Whats App’ the day before which was most helpful in locating the property. Giocomo is always contactable via Whats App if you need any help or advice. The balcony also over looks part of the square where the restaurants are but we hardly heard any noise at night because the room is sound proofed. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony each morning before we set off for a day of walking and exploring. Although the room was not large it was comfortable, clean and in a perfect position. The air conditioning and wifi worked well. There are 382 steps from the train station to the town but most days we caught the mini bus up the hill – it takes 5 mins and costs 2.50 euro pp. The bus runs 3 to 4 times each hour. Next time I would bring a small suitcase as there are several stairs to negotiate once you reach the town center. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend staying here.
4.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Owner or custodian needs to be more available to open rooms when travellers arrive, and sign with location and ph contact needs to be clearer and larger
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice clean room. Great rooftop terrace with amazing views. Very simple process once we found it.
Cons: Toilet smelled somewhat like vomit which was kind of discerning. We only came about the place because a bartender called the hotel manager. Random bit of luck got us there, I don't know what we would have done otherwise.
5.7 Okay
Pros: It had a roof top terrace that had excellent views of the town (better than the La Torre view which is one of the 2 viewpoints in the town). The toiletries are kinda cute. We had a comfortable night. Having the key to come and go as we please.
Cons: Firstly there was nobody at reception (actually it doesn't seem like there is any reception) so we had to go to the town square and use the public phone to call their mobile number. Secondly when we went to our room the owner came with his dog and the dog was allowed to roam around our room and looked into one of our bags with food in it. I like dogs, but didn't think this was very clean. Lastly, the website said that credit cards were accepted, but the owner wanted cash.
4.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the view at the top of the Hotel but that's about it !
Cons: I didn't like the room which was really small and the bed was not comfortable. Not enough pillows and the sheets were not nice... The view from our window was not good. And we were awaken in the morning by the neighbours leaving their room: walls too thin ! I think it was really too expensive for what it is. No hair dryer. No breakfast for 80 euros !!
7.0 Good
Pros: excellent locvation and nice room
Cons: This is not a hotel but for rooms for rent in a building. There is no hotel facilities like reception with this room. All dealings with the "management" have to be over the phone or in the next bar. The room is very noisy when it is windy outside.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean. Nice view at the roof top terrace.
Cons: Check out time was a bit early. 11:00 or 12:00 would have been nicer.
6.7 Good
Pros: The people who ran La Torre were very committed to making our stay a good one. They came to collect us in the village to show us the way up to the hotel. We also loved the rooftop area for relaxing with a glass of wine and a great view.
Cons: It was a little noisy in the room as we could easily hear what other guests we doing in their rooms.
