Pros (+) Damian the host was very helpful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in a newer room. The chef / head of restaurant was also extremely friendly. The staff here really made us feel welcome and were interested in their guests. Very leafy & green and the pool is very inviting. Pool bar will help create a social atmosphere.
Cons (-) I would suggest putting a mosquito net above the bed as there were many bugs flying around the room and also many migies or flies on our bed. Also perhaps a TV in the room as there is not much to do in Dambulla in the evenings so after a day trip it would be nice to have a tv. I think the older rooms had one.
