Pros:The location is convenient from the highway and close to family. This Marriott was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced.
Cons:Sadly, I really like this hotel, but the staff make a hotel and our experiences were not stellar. Not sure if the attitude is a local issue being located in ct/ny area, but have not seen this in PA or NJ. This would have been 4 star until we checked out this morning. Checking in with Amy we experienced a little bit attitude- thought it was a result of being end of the day and wanting to get home. As we are late risers, we inqured about breakfast the night before and was told it was available into the afternoon. 10:45 am we went down before checking out to get the bagged breakfast and coffee and was told by Amy after she looked up from her phone that it ended at 10, no apologies, no let me see what we can do. Just a blank stare. Only after my wife piped up about asking the night crew did she reluctantly say she could get something for us in the back room. We declined, except for a coffee where I could see her make it. There were also a bunch of little things that we noticed no clock in the room, 1/2 roll of toilet paper for us in the room, 2 bath towels which double as pool towels, to name a few. I am not writing this because I'm a spoiled brat who didn't get his way. We are paying for a service in a industry that is fighting back restrictions and expect a certain level of service from a Marriott property.
Pros:Fast check in... friendly staff..
Cons:Bed was a little hard.
