Thanks for everthing. Really friendly people and helpful. Thanks guys
Very economical but you get what you pay for. Not much to like, very basic and rather gloomy. I would not recommend. Located just within the old city walls and close to Uli Mosque. The location the only saving grace.
Barking dogs, paper-thin walls, smell of smoke. Unreliable wifi and not very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included but it was as basic as the room. In all fairness armed conflict in the city two years ago has destroyed tourism and hotels have had a tough time. Still, a bit too dreary and gloomy all around. Could use some renovations. I needed info about a local bus to the airport but reception was not very helpful. I think they were surprised to see a foreigner and weren't quite sure why I was there.
I would have loved a coffee shop nearby or somewhere a female could rest and feel welcome. I'm used to Kurdish culture but didn't expect it to be so traditionally Kurdish. There wasn't anywhere to sample Turkish coffee near the hotel, and not in the airport. Diabakher was a disappointment.
Very good location, close to the city center. Very helpful staff, always smiling and willing to help. Good buffet breakfast, although the same everyday. Ask for a room with the view in the back because the front street is very noisy. Western style toilets.
The shower curtain is useless, water goes all over the bathroom, including toilet seat. At least one kind of juice would have been nice for breakfast.
