the toilet is super clean!! location is super great! quiet. tesco nearby.
the room is too dark!!!! and the kitchen is too dark too. No hairdryer OMG. The wifi did not work on the computer because they sign an old internet contract. The window is hard to open or close.
Closeness to city centre and college atmosphere
Staying on the top floor and no lift
We loved our stay at Trinity! We only spent one night but it was a wonderful experience. We came in from hectic city center into the quiet & calm of Trinity campus. We reserved a two bedroom apartment which was clean & spacious. Kitchenette was perfect for a meal or two. Our reservation came with breakfast at the Buttery which was great; perfect cup of coffee & wonderful scones. It filled us up for a day of walking & exploring.
We arrived before our check in time. The baggage room on the other side of campus & finding it was a bit confusing as the building was under construction.
Very closely located to city center, quite clean room. We chose this instead of hotel, I think it’s good to keep reminded of college days. If I’d stayed hotels, I would never felt like that.
It could have been better if they changed towels everyday. We hung small sign that shows our room needs to be cleaned(kind of asking room service) but when we came, old towels remained and others as well except one day. So we asked new towels and toiletries something like that we need. It’s quite bothersome to ask but it’s fine.
Location was top notch, especially for the price. It's a college dorm room, of course, so as long as you're not expecting a lot of glitz and glamour, it's a fantastic place to stay. 2 Twin sized beds, which were firm but comfortable. We were in building 30, and the room looked out over the tennis courts, but the stadium lights shut off about 9 pm, so noise was not an issue. Simple toiletries provided, and there was a wardrobe to hang clothes, along with a desk and some shelving. Semi-private kitchen room was really well equipped, with stove, microwave, oven, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, etc. and loads of silverware, plates, utensils, etc. There was lots of room to prepare food and eat, and there was even coffee, tea, and milk provided. Accommodation office got us checked in quickly, gave us wi-fi login, a campus map, and campus pass (to show security if coming in after hours.)
No real complaints since it's a college dorm room, but just as an FYI for any larger folks, the shower was really quite small-- husband is 6' 7", and it was a bit touch and go to see if he would be able to get INTO the shower, and then subsequently remove himself FROM the shower afterwards. (Barely, but he made it.) Also just for information, there is no elevator, so you'll have to bring yourself and luggage up some stairs. The ground floor is counted as floor "0", so if your room is, say, on the "second" floor, it's really what we would call the third floor in the US.
